I'm genuinely satisfied with this product. The color payoff is excellent and it applies smoothly. It works well for my cool-toned skin. The lid doesn't close properly, and while you're supposed to smudge with the back end, it feels a bit too stiff.

It doesn't smudge and the color lasts for a long time. The pencil lead is neither too soft nor too hard, making it gentle enough for the delicate under-eye area without causing any irritation. It's thin but not flimsy, and it applies beautifully. I switched from Shu Uemura's Hard Formula in Acorn. The Shu Uemura one covers a wider area in one stroke, giving a more intense application, but this one seems to use just the right amount. The staying power and color payoff are excellent. Is it just the price? It seems like you're only paying for the name. However, I don't think it's outrageously expensive. I started using this about 5 years ago when a friend gave me one. I've been using it exclusively ever since. It's not cheap, so I mainly buy it duty-free. It's great for filling in sparse areas, especially since I naturally have quite dark eyebrows. Sometimes if I'm not careful with the pressure, it can come out a bit too dark. This eyebrow pencil is unbeatable! It's so thin, making it easy to draw precise lines. The color is vivid yet not too intense - it comes out just right! It's truly my holy grail eyebrow product! There's nothing particularly bad about it. Well, it is a bit pricey and not easily available in local stores, which can be inconvenient. However, these don't affect its performance at all!
