This has been my go-to essential for years now. I've been using it since before it was available domestically, though the local price is a bit steep. It keeps my pores clear while controlling oil without drying out my skin. It's a true powder, not just for touch-ups - I've stopped using oil blotting papers since I started using this. The subtle floral scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. In summer, I use it twice a day, morning and afternoon. For late nights out, I'll apply it morning, afternoon, and evening. After applying BB cream, I pat it on with a cotton pad or smooth it out lightly, which helps reduce eye makeup smudging. I use it most in summer, rarely in winter or when my skin is dry, except before applying eyeliner or eyebrows. I have fairly light skin, but not porcelain white, and the beige shade isn't too dark - it's actually slightly brightening and just perfect! Personally, I don't have any complaints... If I had to mention one tiny issue, sometimes when applying, it might leave a reddish mark like a pencil line. It's similar to how Shu Uemura BB cream can occasionally look dark when applied. When this happens, just pat it in gently and it disappears. For reduced makeup smudging, apply a thin layer with a brush and let it absorb before doing your eye makeup. Many people use puffs, but I find regular puff cleaning tedious and reusing something that's touched my face feels unhygienic, so I only use cotton pads. It's convenient to evenly apply the powder on a cotton pad. Here's a tip for those using natural foundation that seems to float on the skin: apply it with a cotton pad to reduce patchiness and achieve a more even, moisturized application.

While it doesn't provide a dramatic effect of making your skin super matte, bright, or completely covering blemishes, it's a solid, reliable product. Doesn't cover blemishes well. Lacks a dramatic effect. It's just... okay. No powder puff included. No mirror either. The amount of product is quite small.
