The staying power was impressive, and the color was perfect for adding a pop to my look. The scent had that signature Mamonde floral fragrance, which I found quite pleasant. Unfortunately, the staining effect wasn't as pretty as I'd hoped, and the applicator brush tip didn't seem optimized for easy application. It looks beautiful when layered with lip gloss. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 26, 2020
It has pretty good staying power. The color payoff is quite nice. It feels moisturizing yet has a matte finish. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells a bit. The staining doesn't seem to look very flattering. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2020
The orange-red shade really brightens up my face! Though I didn't specifically search for it, I'm so glad I tested and bought it. It's exactly the color I wanted, so no regrets here! The floral scent is an added bonus that lifts my mood. The tint tends to leak a bit where the cap meets the tube, leaving dried product in the grooves and making it look messy. As it dries, the tint becomes quite matte, which can make your lips feel even more parched. Make sure you exfoliate well before using this! Since I have dry skin all over, I always apply lip balm over this product! Even if you give it ample time to dry, the color might transfer heavily onto the lip balm, which isn't ideal. Still, to keep your lips from getting too dry, I recommend using a separate lip balm alongside this tint. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2020
I bought this orange tint because it's exactly what I wanted, and the color suits me perfectly! I'm thrilled with it!!! The price is slightly - just slightly - on the higher side, but it's not so expensive that I can't afford it. I'm definitely planning to repurchase!! The color intensity is so strong that it's challenging to control the amount. When I first bought and used it, I was shocked! Apart from needing to be careful with the amount you apply, everything else about it is great! Personally, I find that applying it to the bottom 2/3 and top 2/3 of the lips gives a nice color. However, you might need a tint applicator to help spread it evenly. I recommend using one from a tint you've finished! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2020
The color payoff is absolutely fantastic! If you're a fan of red-orange, you'll fall in love with this classic, quintessential shade. It's wonderfully pigmented and adheres beautifully to the lips. The scent is pleasant too - subtle and inoffensive. The packaging complements the tint color perfectly, making it a gorgeous addition to your collection. It might slightly accentuate dead skin cells, so be cautious. You'll need to be careful with the application - it's easy to apply too much, which can result in an uneven look. Use a light hand! I highly recommend this to red-orange enthusiasts! While it's not my personal go-to, my friend is absolutely obsessed with this color. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 23, 2020
It's a clear red with a subtle orange undertone. The matte finish prevents smudging and offers long-lasting wear! I think this shade would suit those with deep undertones nicely. The lipstick really accentuates dry, flaky lips... And honestly, I don't think the quality justifies the 13,000 won price tag.... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 28, 2019
Long-lasting with intense color payoff, making your lips the focal point of your face It stains heavily, and if applied incorrectly, your lips can look disconnected from your face. The red is too intense Gently dab and blend with a cotton swab - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRednessDec 26, 2019
Wow, the texture is really interesting. It's thin but dries quickly, becoming matte when it sets. I'm not a fan of the color, and the container leaks quite a bit. It also emphasizes dead skin cells badly, and the formula isn't particularly appealing. I rarely reach for this tint. I wouldn't really recommend it! - ss*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 6, 2019
The color payoff is great, and I love that it doesn't create any dead skin cells! This tint is my holy grail, and the only disappointing thing is that there's nothing disappointing about it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 28, 2019
Color: It's a vibrant red with a hint of orange that really brightens up your face! Pigmentation and texture: Just one swipe gives you intense color! The texture starts off thin but becomes matte over time. Scent: There's a slightly sweet floral fragrance. Packaging: The cap has a cute teardrop shape, and overall it looks sleek. Applicator: The pointed tip makes it easy to apply. Update: Initially, I wasn't impressed, but after experimenting, I found that if you dab it very lightly on the inner part of your lips and blend, it creates a soft, slightly pink-coral glow! But be careful not to apply too much, or it'll look like gochujang (Korean red chili paste). Also, it looks gorgeous when you use it as a base and pat Mamonde Creamy Tint Color Balm on top (I used Velvet Coral)! Now for the downsides... Color: While it's described as red-orange, it's more like pure gochujang color! It's seriously bright red like chili paste. I'd only recommend this to those who can pull off that intense red. Transfer and longevity: As you can see in the photos, it transfers easily - if you press your lips on your hand, it leaves a perfect lip print. It even transfers to paper cups when drinking water. The staying power is weak too, disappearing completely after eating. There's no staining effect at all, so the longevity is poor. Feel: It's not lightweight and feels a bit thick on the lips. Dead skin cells: If you have any dry patches, it really emphasizes them and looks messy. I recommend trying it on your lips before buying. When I swatched it on my hand, it didn't look as intense, but on the lips... oh my! If you have dry lips, apply a lip balm first. (It looks even more like gochujang than in the photos!)
