The absorption isn't bad, and it forms a good barrier that seems to lock in hydration well. After application, it definitely leaves the skin feeling moisturized. It should work well on extremely dry areas. While absorption isn't lightning-fast, it's not bad either. True to its name, it definitely delivers on moisturizing and strengthening the skin barrier.
ConsIt's a bit heavy and has an oily feel, so those with oily skin should probably avoid it. More importantly, it contains pore-clogging ingredients and PEGs. It might be suitable for extremely dry skin types. As someone with sensitive combination skin (combination dehydrated + dry), I sometimes experience a slight tingling allergic reaction. Reactions can vary, so you'd need to try it, but it's hard to test beforehand since Daiso doesn't offer many cosmetic samples. The tube is made of aluminum. As you use it, it can tear or the outer paint can chip off... There's a risk of injuring your hands. They urgently need to change the tube material. Perhaps due to the added fragrance, the scent is quite strong.
TipI apply just a tiny amount on dry areas, and use an appropriate amount on areas that need moisture to prevent flaking or cracking (fingertips, soles, calves...). When applying mineral sunscreen, I put a very small amount on dry areas (cheeks) before the sunscreen, and it prevents my skin from feeling tight.

However, using this over my moisturizer solved the problem! It's incredibly hydrating! While it's a moisturizing product and has a rich feel, it's not bothersome.
ConsIt might be fine for dry skin, but for combination dehydrated skin like mine, the rich texture means it's best avoided in humid spring and summer.
TipIf you dislike rich textures, try applying a small amount thinly over a non-greasy moisturizer. This should significantly reduce any slippery feeling.
