  Pros

  I tried the one my mom bought. Although my skin tone is 21, I have a lot of areas that need coverage. Using shade 23 Vanilla, the coverage looks great, and it feels natural and just right. I checked its staying power for about 4 hours, and maybe because it's winter, there wasn't any noticeable breakdown. No floating or cracking either. The coverage is medium, but I like that I can create a comfortable skin look by applying it thinly.

  Cons

  It's not an extremely hydrating cushion, so you need to be thorough with your skincare routine.

  Tip

  Perhaps because it's winter, if you let your skin absorb essence or hydrating moisturizer thoroughly before using the cushion, you can achieve a nice glow and beautiful complexion.

  Pros

  You know how some people's noses get those visible pores and dead skin cells, right? And when cushion foundation dries on the nose, it can look like sebum is coming through. But with this, I swiped it on my nose and for the first time, my nose looked flawless! It applies so smoothly and naturally, leaving a nice hydrated finish. I absolutely love it!

  Cons

  The staying power is just okay, and while it doesn't create a thick layer of makeup, it does leave noticeable marks. It's the kind of cushion where if you press with your finger, you'll see a fingernail imprint. So you need to blend it several times with the puff. If you're in a hurry and try to apply it quickly, the finish might not look as pretty. Also, in my opinion, the coverage isn't that great...

  Tip

  Make sure to press and blend it well when applying. When I first tried patting it on, I thought it was too thick and damp, and I didn't like it. But when I started blending it in, it adhered much better to my skin and felt more hydrated. I want to keep using only this cushion. Even though I'm not a big fan of Atomy products in general, this cushion is truly a gem!

  Pros

  I didn't apply any special base, just my skincare routine, and then gently patted this on. It's incredibly lightweight and provides natural coverage with just the right amount of skin-perfecting effect. It's the holy grail that got me out of my 'can't be bothered with makeup' phase! Just a quick swish-swish-swish and you're done! It truly functions as an all-in-one compact. My complexion is on the darker side, so my friend and I bought both shades 21 and 23, and we just swap the refills. Shade 21 also looked great on me, giving a bright finish without any cakiness. For everyday wear, I go with shade 23.

  Cons

  The only slight downside is that free shipping starts at $50, so buying just one can make the delivery fee feel a bit wasteful. But personally, I don't have any other complaints.

  Pro tip: If you and a friend have different complexions, buy shades 21 and 23 together and swap the refills. Use 21 on your T-zone and 23 on the outer areas for added dimension. Plus, you'll save on shipping!
