As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, here's my review after using this product for over 2 years: a. I have a yellowish undertone with shade 23, and I love that this product also has a yellow base in shade 23. The color match is perfect for me. b. The coverage is medium to high. It covers pores well and effectively conceals residual blemishes. c. It has great absorption, so you can achieve good coverage with just a small amount. d. The moisturizing formula prevents flaking and doesn't emphasize dead skin cells. a. It can feel a bit rich, which isn't ideal for the humid summer months. b. There's some transfer, though it doesn't completely rub off. I think it's due to the rich texture. a. Since there's a bit of transfer, make sure to set it with powder. b. In summer, especially when touching up, instead of patting with a cushion, try blotting excess oil with oil blotting papers or tissues. This prevents makeup from coming off and avoids making it look cakey. c. It absorbs well even in small amounts, so apply it by gently patting small dots of product onto your skin! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2019
I tried the one my mom bought. Although my skin tone is 21, I have a lot of areas that need coverage. Using shade 23 Vanilla, the coverage looks great, and it feels natural and just right. I checked its staying power for about 4 hours, and maybe because it's winter, there wasn't any noticeable breakdown. No floating or cracking either. The coverage is medium, but I like that I can create a comfortable skin look by applying it thinly. It's not an extremely hydrating cushion, so you need to be thorough with your skincare routine. Perhaps because it's winter, if you let your skin absorb essence or hydrating moisturizer thoroughly before using the cushion, you can achieve a nice glow and beautiful complexion. - eu*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresNov 26, 2019
Coverage: Medium to high. It covers most imperfections, but you'll need a concealer for darker spots or blemishes. Adherence: Moderate. It transfers easily when touched and can leave fingerprints. Setting with powder is a must! Application: Smooth and easy to apply. Just be mindful of the amount you use for best results. As mentioned above, the adherence is lacking. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2019
The coverage is pretty decent, and I like that it doesn't dry out my skin. It's so prone to fingerprints, and when it breaks down, it doesn't do so gracefully. Powder is a must-have with this. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2019
It feels like it creates a thin layer of makeup on the skin. It's not thick, but gives a sheer, transparent finish. The pores! It really covers the pores well! So I don't need to use a separate primer. I just press it firmly onto my nose and T-zone, and it instantly covers everything. As it goes on thinly, the coverage is a bit weak. Since I have blemish-prone skin, I prefer higher coverage. So I only use this to cover pores on my nose, and use a different cushion for the rest of my face! - sy*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 29, 2019
It seems like a really versatile and easy-to-use product. I didn't have high expectations since Atomy isn't primarily known as a cosmetics brand. However, it gives a beautiful skin finish and a lovely, subtle glow. The coverage is almost non-existent. There's something in this product that doesn't agree with my skin - every time I use this cushion, my skin reacts badly. It causes blemishes to appear. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 1, 2019
You know how some people's noses get those visible pores and dead skin cells, right? And when cushion foundation dries on the nose, it can look like sebum is coming through. But with this, I swiped it on my nose and for the first time, my nose looked flawless! It applies so smoothly and naturally, leaving a nice hydrated finish. I absolutely love it! The staying power is just okay, and while it doesn't create a thick layer of makeup, it does leave noticeable marks. It's the kind of cushion where if you press with your finger, you'll see a fingernail imprint. So you need to blend it several times with the puff. If you're in a hurry and try to apply it quickly, the finish might not look as pretty. Also, in my opinion, the coverage isn't that great... Make sure to press and blend it well when applying. When I first tried patting it on, I thought it was too thick and damp, and I didn't like it. But when I started blending it in, it adhered much better to my skin and felt more hydrated. I want to keep using only this cushion. Even though I'm not a big fan of Atomy products in general, this cushion is truly a gem! - mo******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 27, 2018
It absorbs well and gives a radiant complexion. What else could you ask for? 1. Excess powder A common drawback of cushion-type products. No matter how careful you are, it gets dusty over time. 2. Blemishes Not recommended for oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. While my skin was improving when I only used the AC solution, once I started using this, acne started running rampant. Painful pimples keep appearing consistently. 3. Texture It's sticky, lacks coverage, and doesn't last long. I only endured the terrible texture because I was using it for blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 29, 2018
I ordered this as a gift, but I loved how it absorbs well and adheres to the skin, so I bought one for myself too. It's lightweight, and although I usually use shade 21, I tried shade 23 since I heard it's brighter, and it's perfect for me. The product comes with one refill, but it would be great if we could purchase refills separately. It applies quite thinly, so you might need to use a concealer or other products for areas you want more coverage. I'm just using it as is though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 29, 2017
Covers blemish marks so well you don't need concealer. Great staying power - no touch-ups needed even after a full day out. The shade isn't too dark or light, blending perfectly with my complexion. It can apply thickly if you're not careful. This can make your makeup look cakey and settle into fine lines. You need to make an effort to apply it thinly. Also, I've noticed a few small breakouts.
