I wanted to buy a highlighter that I could use easily and cheaply, but I can't really say it's good.

While it doesn't emphasize flakiness, it also doesn't do much for pores. It's more like a shimmering sponge than an actual highlighter. When you apply it to your skin, it doesn't even show up. And if you have small hands, it won't even come out on a decent applicator.
