Although the product is labeled for thick hair, I don't think it makes much difference. I've tried the 'Light' version as a sample, and honestly, there isn't a huge difference between them. When I use this, I shed a lot of hair, but I think of it as thinning out the hair that would fall out anyway. I use it about once a week. I've noticed that after the initial shedding, it doesn't cause as much hair loss in subsequent uses. I'm relatively new to Aveda, but after trying it, I can definitely say it feels gentle on the scalp. There's no residue or feeling that scalp oils weren't properly cleansed. The overall experience feels clean and fresh. The only downside to Aveda is the price. To be honest, it's not an exceptionally outstanding product, but if you're someone who's particularly concerned about scalp health, it's probably a good choice.

It doesn't have an artificial scent and has excellent cleansing effectiveness. Even when used alone, this shampoo doesn't leave my hair feeling stiff. The quantity is small and it's quite expensive. Even using it by myself, it didn't last a month.

There's absolutely nothing good to say about this. I was so upset with my husband for ordering the wrong one, I could have screamed. It's excessively oily, doesn't lather at all, and doesn't even clean properly. To make matters worse, it caused blemishes on my forehead, scalp, and even my neck. What more can I say? I've been consistently using Invati and it seems like I'm losing less hair, so it's become a staple for me. I love Aveda products for their pleasant fragrance. It doesn't lather well, so I end up using a lot of this expensive product. Some say it lathers better if you wet your hair thoroughly first, but it still doesn't work for me. It seems to lather even less when there's oil on my scalp. Even though it doesn't lather much, it still seems to cleanse effectively.

The ginseng scent is pleasantly subtle. The price is quite premium, so I probably wouldn't be able to use it if it wasn't a gift. I'm not sure if the effects are good enough to justify the high cost. It doesn't lather much, so you need to use quite a bit per wash. My hair looks noticeably healthier and more manageable. I love how it reduces frizz and keeps my locks in place. It's quite pricey. Aside from the cost, the only downside might be that it doesn't lather as much as I'd like. The subtle fragrance is truly amazing for maintaining scalp health. For a scalp shampoo, it lathers incredibly well. Above all, I'm satisfied because it's so effective - my itchy scalp and hair loss have improved significantly. There's only one disappointing aspect: the wickedly high price. It rarely goes on sale, and even at Olive Young, it's quite expensive.
