  Pros

  A classic lip balm that's moisturizing and glides on smoothly. I've tried various brands, and this one's on par with Burt's Bees. Compared to other brands like Innisfree or Laneige, I prefer the organic, natural ingredient-based lip balms like Burt's Bees or this Dr. Bronner's. The aforementioned lip balms seemed to only moisturize the surface without addressing dead skin cells at the root, but this one has a subtle green tea/lemon scent that's lovely. The size is identical to Burt's Bees lip balm.

  Cons

  At 5,520 won from Olive Young, it's a bit pricey for its value. Burt's Bees offers two for around 7,000 won...

  Hydration: The moisturizing power of this lip balm is incredible! While it may vary from person to person, I found that even after applying it before bed, there was still some left when I woke up. It keeps your lips so hydrated, and when you wake up, your lips feel incredibly smooth. Dead skin cells: Whenever my lips were flaky or in poor condition, I made sure to apply this before bed. The improvement by morning was remarkable. If you often suffer from chapped lips like me, I highly recommend this. Even though I only applied it before bed, not frequently throughout the day, the visible improvement was significant. Scent: It has a refreshing lemon scent that I really enjoyed!

  Ingredients: I've been using this for about a year and came rushing to write a Hwahae review because I loved it so much. However, upon checking the ingredients, I noticed there are quite a few potential allergens. The ingredient list is a bit disappointing. Itchiness: Sometimes when my lips are in really bad condition, I apply it not just on my lips but slightly over the lip line and around the mouth area before bed. Occasionally, this causes itching around the lips. I think this might be due to the numerous potential allergens in the ingredients, which is somewhat disappointing.

  It's shimmery and moisturizing. I usually buy tinted lip balms with less color payoff for my kids, but I was getting bored of using the same one for so long and was looking for something different when I found this. The ingredients seemed good, so I ordered it, and I love the scent. It's refreshingly nice... I thought it would be hard and stiff before using it, but it's actually quite soft and applies smoothly. I mainly used it on bare lips, and my kids love this product too. Maybe because it's shimmery? Or glossy? That seems to be why they like it so much.

  Cons

  It's a bit pricier compared to other lip balms in similar packaging. When I first tried to open it, the outer sticker packaging was a bit difficult to tear. It seems like you need to tear it carefully to open the cap in one go. But it's not that challenging.

  The ingredients seem pretty decent, except for the potential allergens! When I actually used it, it wasn't irritating on my lips, so I enjoyed using it. The texture was incredibly smooth and glided on my lips effortlessly. While it wasn't as moisturizing as I had expected, it did feel quite hydrating without being sticky. However, it didn't seem to have enough hydrating power to soothe dead skin cells. As for the scent, it had a lime candy-like fragrance. Those sensitive to fragrances might find it a bit noticeable.
