The scent is not overwhelming, and the texture is just right - neither too soft nor too firm. The price is also reasonable. There's honestly nothing to complain about. Though it looked like a solid formula, it melted incredibly smoothly on my lips when applied. After application, there's a nice oily glow on the lips. When touched, there's a slight slip that quickly disappears, which I liked because it meant no stickiness or yogurt-like residue. The hydration was also quite good. When you open the cap, a fresh scent wafts up, but it's not overpowering - just a subtle fragrance that doesn't really bother you. The small size of the lip balm made it a bit awkward to open the cap or twist the bottom. As I used it, the surface seemed to gradually soften. It keeps your lips so hydrated, and when you wake up, your lips feel incredibly smooth. Dead skin cells: Whenever my lips were flaky or in poor condition, I made sure to apply this before bed. The improvement by morning was remarkable. If you often suffer from chapped lips like me, I highly recommend this. Even though I only applied it before bed, not frequently throughout the day, the visible improvement was significant. Scent: It has a refreshing lemon scent that I really enjoyed! Ingredients: I've been using this for about a year and came rushing to write a Hwahae review because I loved it so much. However, upon checking the ingredients, I noticed there are quite a few potential allergens. The ingredient list is a bit disappointing. Itchiness: Sometimes when my lips are in really bad condition, I apply it not just on my lips but slightly over the lip line and around the mouth area before bed. Occasionally, this causes itching around the lips. I think this might be due to the numerous potential allergens in the ingredients, which is somewhat disappointing. I really urge everyone to apply a generous amount just once before going to bed...

If you're looking for that deep-fried lips effect, this might not be for you. It provides just the right amount of moisture to tackle dead skin cells. Personally, I prefer something richer in winter. If you use this product in colder months, you might find yourself applying it more frequently and generously. While I really love the scent, I'd still opt for a richer oil-based balm in winter. To be honest, I like everything about it, but putting myself in the shoes of those who might not, I'll reluctantly mention a few points: 1. The hydration lasts longer compared to other products. It absorbs very smoothly when applied. It feels a bit thick when applied due to its ultra-smooth texture. While it's moisturizing thanks to its rich oil content, it tends to attract dust from scarves and such in winter.
