  Pros

  I've been using this as a mist and toner. It's gentle on the skin, easy to spray, and keeps my skin hydrated. I have super sensitive skin, but I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through!

  Cons

  There's not really anything to complain about, but I wish it came in a larger size.

  For an extra boost of hydration, soak a cotton pad and leave it on your skin for about 3 minutes.

  Dr. Bronner's is one of my favorite brands, so I was curious about their Skin Softener. I tried the Rose product, which is designed for dry skin and has a moisturizing formula. First off, this product is an organic toner with 95% of its ingredients (excluding water and salt) certified organic. This makes it a trustworthy choice. The rose scent reminds me of aromatherapy oils, which suits my taste perfectly! After cleansing, I layer it 2-3 times, and it works well as an essence substitute. It's especially great for my super sensitive skin that suffers from deep dryness, so I use it daily. I appreciate that it comes in a less intimidating size rather than a bulk option. I highly recommend this as a toner that's perfect for consistent use!

  The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. I wish it were slightly more affordable.

  I'm on my third bottle because I love the scent and how moisturizing it is. It was even fine to use when I was sensitive to smells during pregnancy.

  Pros

  I must have gone through about 5 bottles of this stuff. (It's become my go-to product!) It's fantastic as a mist, skin toner, or regular toner. Love the scent, and it's so hydrating yet lightweight - absolutely wonderful. The generous amount is a big plus too. With its gentle ingredients, I use it with complete confidence.

  Cons

  There's not really anything to dislike about this great product. The only downside is that it seems to be exclusively available at Costco, which is a bit inconvenient.

  Pros

  Many people said the scent wasn't great, but personally, I loved the rose fragrance. Though, I suppose a scent means something's been added, right? I bought this product at a drugstore in the US. I guess the manufacturing location varies depending on where you buy it? Maybe that's why I didn't have any major issues using this product. The scent was nice, and it was hydrating...

  Cons

  I just checked Hwahae and saw that the ingredients aren't good. I'm disappointed. I used this toner during a month-long US tour, and no matter how tightly I closed it, after shaking, the contents would leak when I opened the cap. What a waste of money...

  Tip

  Nothing much to add. Maybe just that if you have dry skin, you might want to apply it multiple times?

  I've been getting more blemishes lately, so I tried this toner since it's supposed to be gentle and help calm skin issues. I'm happy to report there's no irritation, and most importantly, it's super hydrating! I've been using it religiously. Love that it comes in a generous size too!

  Cons

  There wasn't anything major I disliked, but if I had to nitpick... the scent isn't really my style. It's not off-putting or anything, just that when I smell it, I don't think 'Wow, this fragrance is amazing!' you know?

  Tip

  There's a mist bottle that works great with this toner! I pour the toner in there, and when I'm in a rush or busy, I can just spritz it on instead of having to apply it by hand. So convenient!

  Pros

  It's gentle and incredibly hydrating! When used as a skin pack, it significantly lowers skin temperature, which is great for tightening pores. All the ingredients are organic too... I'm 13 now, and my skin has become super sensitive and prone to blemishes. After switching from other products to this one, my blemishes disappeared quickly, and I don't get any acne at all! Even when using the 7-skin method, it's never irritating. I've been using it multiple times, and I love it. It's not sticky, has a nice consistency, and absorbs incredibly fast - just a little patting and it's absorbed. And it leaves my skin so moisturized! I'm already on my third bottle...

  Cons

  If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say it's not recommended for those with severe deep dryness. While the surface hydration is excellent, it doesn't seem to improve deep dryness. Also, when using it as a skin pack, if you apply it just below the aegyo-sal (under-eye fat), it can cause eye redness and a cold sensation, though this might be due to my sensitive eyes.

  Tip

  It's so gentle that you can use it daily as a skin pack without any blemishes appearing! (For reference, even the mildest organic skincare products or kids' emulsions make my skin red...) It gradually lowers skin temperature, which is great for tightening pores!

  I've been using this product for several bottles now. I've tried both the lavender and rose versions. While I preferred the lavender scent, it contains more ethanol, which might be off-putting for those with sensitive skin. On the other hand, the rose version is comparatively more hydrating, has a pleasant fragrance, and is great for refining the texture of dry skin.

  Even though I have sensitive skin, I've been using this for several bottles without any blemishes.

  Apply it on an organic cotton pad to refine your skin texture, then follow with your skincare routine. This helps your products absorb better.
