It provides a natural brightening effect, and if you don't rub it too vigorously, the staying power is impressive! As someone with dry skin, I really appreciated how this product keeps my skin hydrated and doesn't leave it feeling parched.
ConsThe only downside is that you might need to touch up once. I'm not usually one for touch-ups, but on days when I'm being photographed, I do find myself needing to reapply. If you wear it for a long time, you might notice a slight increase in oiliness.
TipFor best results, apply a hydrating essence first, then layer this product on top. You'll end up with wonderfully supple, bouncy skin!

I've tried many foundations like MAC Studio, JUNG SAEM MOOL stick, and Innisfree My Foundation, but they all separated even after moisturizing, showing how truly dry my skin is. However, when I discovered this product at Olive Young and tried it for the first time, it barely separated at all.
ConsAs time passed, the foundation wore off quite a bit. While blemishes weren't very noticeable when first applied, after going out and coming back home, all the blemishes became prominent. Even though I used MAC Fix+, the staying power was really poor to the point where it all came off. Also, it contains four harmful ingredients! And if you don't properly hydrate before applying and then go out, it tends to separate quite a bit.

It's great for keeping my skin moisturized during the dry winter months.
ConsThe coverage seems a bit weaker compared to other products...

I've been on a quest for my holy grail cushion foundation, trying countless options. This cushion is perfect for me. It provides great coverage, doesn't dry out my skin, and adheres beautifully, making my complexion look amazing. The finish is wonderfully matte, making it ideal for those who dislike sticky textures.
ConsI use shade 21, and it seems slightly darker compared to other cushions. However, it's not noticeably dark or unflattering.

Initially, I was tempted by the BTS model, but it turned out to be worth every penny. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I was worried about pilling, but the oil balance was just right - not too rich, yet not drying either! Even without applying emulsion sometimes, it didn't pill, and though it may slightly bunch up over time, it still applies beautifully. The cica ingredients really seem to work wonders! I was concerned about potential blemishes due to pore-clogging ingredients, but surprisingly, it sometimes even helped improve my skin troubles.
ConsThe cushion case design might be quite polarizing. I personally bought a separate black case to use instead. Unfortunately, as time passes, it doesn't wear very attractively. It only looks good for a few hours after application, so touch-ups seem necessary. This might be a deal-breaker for those who don't like frequent touch-ups.
TipThere's a green base around the edges of the cushion, but I noticed the puff mostly picks up the main cushion base. You'll need to use it carefully. Also, setting it with powder at the end seems to help it last longer and look more beautiful!

I also like that I don't get many blemishes after using this.
ConsThe coverage seems a bit weak for hiding blemishes, so it doesn't conceal them well. Also, since I have oily skin, it tends to break down a bit as time passes. And on my skin, it leaves a slightly whitish cast, which is noticeable.

The formula absorbs well without causing dryness.
ConsI often experienced pilling after application. Considering its reputation, it was rather disappointing... It fell short of expectations.

The case has a tiger drawn on it, which might explain why it smells a bit like tiger balm - sort of like tea tree oil. It gives off the feeling that it's really working on those blemishes. The scent fades as you use it more. It felt moisturizing and lightweight. When I bought it, my skin was in terrible condition, but this cushion didn't cause any tingling or dryness, making it a comfortable option.
ConsPerhaps due to the base on the sides, it gives a whitening effect that brightens the face. You need to press only the middle and reapply carefully. (It's frustrating when it doesn't provide coverage but just makes your face look white.) The coverage is really poor, so you absolutely need to carry a concealer with you. I usually buy cushions because they're convenient for touch-ups when out, but with this one, you need to bring everything along. You even need to use concealer to tone down the whiteness from the cushion's base. It doesn't cover spots well, and it can't even hide dark circles or dullness. While the moisturizing and lightweight feel is nice, it sometimes feels like it's pilling. The case is thick, which is really inconvenient when carrying a small bag. I won't be repurchasing.
TipBecause the cushion's base is strong, it tends to make the skin look white overall rather than giving a natural skin appearance. Due to its poor coverage, after applying the cushion all over, you need to go back with foundation or concealer to cover areas like under the eyes and blemishes.

While it had good coverage and a slight glow, I still felt dry, so I decided to give the Cica Redness Cushion a try. I'm happy to report that it's even more hydrating than the Missha Glow Pact. As soon as you apply it, you get a beautiful glow! I'm really satisfied with it. The idea of combining pink, green, and yellow bases in one compact is truly revolutionary. Unlike some other products where the colors are marbled together and you end up with just yellow foundation by the end, this one has separate sections. This allows you to freely adjust the brightness and tone to suit your skin. I love that flexibility. What's really impressive is that despite its excellent coverage, it doesn't feel heavy or cakey. It's natural, lightweight, yet provides medium to high coverage. (In my opinion, it has similar hydration to Lancôme's Teint Miracle foundation, but with much better coverage.) As a bonus, I have dry and super sensitive skin, so even moisturizing foundations can cause itching and small bumps if there are any incompatible ingredients. However, this product has great ingredients, and I didn't experience any skin irritation at all.
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it's that despite its hydrating properties, it doesn't adhere perfectly to the skin - though this is true for most cushions. Still, it adheres better than other cushions I've tried. When I mention adhesion issues, I'm referring to how it might settle into fine lines around the nose area after a couple of hours, especially if you haven't exfoliated well. However, when your skin is in good condition or well-exfoliated, it adheres beautifully. We all know how challenging it is to achieve this with a hydrating formula! I'd recommend using exfoliating pads, sheet masks, or peel-off masks the night before or just before applying makeup. A little extra care can make a big difference.
TipHere's a tip I discovered while using the Missha Glow series - the Missha Glow Cream pairs incredibly well with this cushion. The Glow Cream is the only functional cream I've used that hasn't caused breakouts on my sensitive, dry skin. I've been recommending it to everyone I know! The Glow Cream doesn't give you an overly shiny look, it's more like a hydrating primer that gives your skin a natural radiance. I highly recommend trying the combination of Missha Glow Cream and the Cica Redness Cushion. There's no pilling, and they seem to enhance each other's glow-giving properties. While it's great year-round, I especially recommend this combo for winter rather than summer. Your skin will thank you!

The green tint helps neutralize my redness, and I love that it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry.
ConsBe careful when applying makeup over it! If you use too much of the green-tinted product, it can make your face look unnaturally pale when you put on foundation.
