I have combination skin with acne! The best thing about the VT Cica Cushion, known as the 'Tiger Cushion', is that it offers soothing care, skin coverage, and protection! I decided to buy it because it's said to reduce blemishes, including acne, and minimize redness. First off, the most impressive aspect is that it really does seem to calm the skin! There's no irritation, so it's great for use when your acne is severe or when you're just popping out for a quick errand. However, the skin coverage isn't as high as I expected, so when going out, I added Luna concealer on top of this cushion. I have skin that tends to get very itchy and flaky when I'm out for long periods, but this product didn't cause any itching or flaking, which was great! Also, I'm a fan of cica and tea tree scents, and I was pleased that this product has those fragrances. The disappointing aspect is definitely the skin coverage. It barely covers anything, similar to applying a CC cushion. Also, I prefer matte cushions, but this one isn't matte in texture. Keep that in mind! If you're looking for a matte finish, try applying Innisfree No Sebum Powder on top - it works great! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 29, 2021
I don't usually prioritize coverage, but this seems to cover better with each layer. The cica ingredients give it a refreshing feel. It transfers too much onto my mask... As someone with super sensitive skin, it unfortunately causes breakouts. When I touch up, it gets thick and pills. I had high hopes because of the good price-to-performance ratio, but alas... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2021
It's so moisturizing and adheres perfectly to the skin! The absorption is really impressive. Occasionally it might pill a bit, causing makeup to lift, but it's not particularly bothersome. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2021
It felt nice and moisturizing when first applied, but that's about it. It cakes up terribly, has awful staying power, and clogs pores excessively... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2021
First off, the case is absolutely gorgeous, and it brightens my complexion perfectly! It's fantastic for evening out my skin tone. It tends to attract dust particles to my skin, and the case gets scratched up really easily. You absolutely must set this with powder. This cushion foundation won't work at all without powder on top. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2021
I have combination dehydrated skin with dead skin cells on my nose and forehead! @Soothing - Being a cica cushion, it has cica around the edges. When I applied that part, it felt refreshingly cool! @Coverage - It did a decent job covering my redness and blemishes! @Hydration - While I'm not usually a fan of dewy, hydrating products, this one was pleasantly moisturizing! @Transfer - Since it's not matte, there was some transfer onto my mask and other places, as expected! Perhaps because of my combination dehydrated skin, I felt the cushion was a bit rich for me. @Blemishes - After using this product, I started to notice small bumps appearing, so I had to stop using it. @Transfer - The transfer onto my mask and other places was quite inconvenient. I was hoping for soothing effects from a cica cushion, but I was disappointed when it actually caused blemishes instead. While I'm not a fan of glowy finishes, if you prefer a radiant look, this might not be a bad choice! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 17, 2021
The cushion compact case is absolutely gorgeous, and the cushion itself has such a unique and intriguing shape. I regret buying this. As soon as I apply it to my skin, it just sits on top without blending. Even the slightest touch leaves visible marks. My advice? Don't waste your money on this one! - dn******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2021
I have skin prone to severe redness, but the green-tinted foundation next to the cushion seemed to cover my redness really well It's not particularly moisturizing, so those with dry skin might need to focus on a solid skincare routine beforehand. Also, fingerprints tend to show up easily on the cushion compact - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2020
I absolutely love the green cica part of this product. It provides a natural brightening effect, and if you don't rub it too vigorously, the staying power is impressive! As someone with dry skin, I really appreciated how this product keeps my skin hydrated and doesn't leave it feeling parched. The only downside is that you might need to touch up once. I'm not usually one for touch-ups, but on days when I'm being photographed, I do find myself needing to reapply. If you wear it for a long time, you might notice a slight increase in oiliness. For best results, apply a hydrating essence first, then layer this product on top. You'll end up with wonderfully supple, bouncy skin! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2020
The scent is slightly herbal, perhaps due to its cica ingredients. It's amazing for preventing blemishes and leaves your skin incredibly hydrated and soft. I highly recommend this for those who can't use just any cushion foundation. I got the full-size product plus a refill for only 20,900 won at Cou*e - it's truly excellent value for money! There's nothing particularly bad to mention. The case is pretty, and the puff is lovely too! Make sure to pat it in well for the best results.
