As a man, I need exfoliation, exfoliation.
I heard it hammered into my ears,

 The product has the highest scrub effect index printed on the back of the container... If you have sensitive skin, I recommend checking the scrub effect index at an offline store like Olive Young before purchasing and choosing a GENTLE~MODERATE product.
Also, I've been using this product not only for my skin but also as a lip scrub, and it's really great. I apply a generous amount of Vaseline the night before, then gently roll it on in the morning and apply lip balm - my lips stay moisturized all day long🤭 I think it can also be used as a body scrub substitute.

 The downside is that it is quite irritating. I don't have any issues with my skin, so I've been continuing to use it, but for those with sensitive skin, it might be difficult to use... The scrub particles are also extremely large and don't dissolve, so if you scrub with too much force, your skin may hurt. When using it, it's important to apply gentle pressure, roll it along the grain of your skin, and have patience while scrubbing. And while the scent was lovely at first, after continued use, it became overpowering - the fragrance is quite strong. That's something to keep in mind.

 My skin is what you might call 'steel skin' - I've never felt that any product I've used so far has been too irritating for my skin, even though I do have some blemishes. The St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub has a strong sweet apricot scent, and the exfoliating particles are much larger than other scrubs. Since I heard the 'scrub effectiveness index' was DEEP, I wanted to see how well it worked, and after using it, I could see that my face was left feeling incredibly smooth... It also has great moisture, and right after using it, there's no tightness at all - my skin is left feeling soft and hydrated. It's really impressive. However, the tightness does come back later, so it's best to do your full skincare routine right after using it. I usually go with a mask -> scrub -> skincare -> makeup, and on the days I do that whole routine, my makeup applies so much better. The amount of product is also really generous - I usually buy it when it's on sale at Olive Young for around 5,000 won, and it lasts me a long time.

The key is to gently roll it on your skin. I use it with a bit of lukewarm water, massaging it in. I put a little more pressure when scrubbing my nose, and it feels so refreshing! My blackheads have also decreased. After using this, I follow up with a cleansing foam, preferably one that contains white clay or can absorb pore impurities.

If you scrub too hard, it can be painful, and if you don't rinse it off properly, there might be some residue left on your forehead or in your hair. The texture is a mix of cream and granules, so after cleansing, there might be a slightly slippery or sticky feeling, which isn't very pleasant. In that case, it's better to use a cleansing foam to wash your face one more time.

❤ After using this, my skin feels so soft and smooth. It effectively removes dead skin cells. I've tried almost every product for blackheads, but using this scrub and cleansing oil alternately has really made a difference! My skin has improved a lot, and I plan to continue using it. I've also recommended it to my friends, and they all said it worked great for them too. 👃❤

The granules are quite large, so it feels quite irritating, but there weren't any visible reddening or anything like that.
However, since it's not a water-soluble type, even after rinsing repeatedly, the granules remain on my face and hairline.
Until then, I had been using a water-soluble type, and I tried the St. Ives Body Wash, which I really liked, but I didn't realize how inconvenient the non-water-soluble type would be.
It's okay if I wash my hair as well (although there are still some granules left on the days I use the scrub), but if I just do facial cleansing and skincare without washing my hair, the granules keep coming out from somewhere, and it drives me crazy.
It's no exaggeration to say that I'm writing this review because of this issue.
