I've been using 3 types of Aveda hair products (Invati, Damage, and Rosemary Mint) for 3 years, and the Damage line is really great for damaged hair. It's like doing a hair clinic at home. Shampoo 1-2 times a week, apply the conditioner, put on the cap, place a warm towel on top, and rinse after about 10 minutes - your hair will be very good!
Cons
Using shampoo or conditioner daily can be bad for the scalp. Since they are highly nourishing products.
Tip
Use Invati 1-2 times a week, Damage 1-2 times a week, and Mint almost daily. Invati is for the scalp, Damage is for the hair, and it's very good!

Honestly, if the damage is too severe, the most important thing is that the hair gets washed and dried, regardless of the ingredients or anything else, isn't it?

Since it's a damaged hair line, the shampoo can feel a bit heavy. My hair is thin and lacks volume at the roots, and my face is large and not very smooth, so when my hair loses volume, it feels like a mess. That's why volume is really important to me, and I switched to other shampoos in the middle because of this, but I was using the shampoo incorrectly. My thin, damaged hair from frequent perms is definitely improved by using this shampoo. Out of all the shampoos I've tried, this one provides the most moisture and calms my hair the best.
Cons
It's expensive.. and I use it up quickly :( But other than that, I don't see any other downsides.
