The particles are a bit coarser compared to other products. I'm lazy, so I just wet my face and rub it on directly. You can really feel the dead skin cells being sloughed off with these larger granules. Despite that, it dissolves easily in water, so the particles disappear quickly. It lathers up well, so you don't need to spend extra time working it up in your hands. It's also a great size for oily skin types to carry around - my boyfriend even sneaks it when he leaves for work. I'm on my 5th bottle now, and it seems to last quite a while for its size. I'm really happy with it!
ConsWhile it's inexpensive, the quantity is quite small too. It's only slightly larger than a lighter? Like some low pH foam cleansers, it leaves a slippery feeling after rinsing, so you need to rinse twice.
TipThe pricing is truly all over the place. There can even be a difference of up to 2000 won between deals posted on the same day. I've purchased it for anywhere between 1900 to 3900 won (and I keep repurchasing).

While I need to use it a bit more to be sure, for a powder cleanser, it's reasonably priced. I like that it's less drying after washing. Great for travel too. I'm writing this review after using my third bottle. As mentioned above, it lathers well. It's also gentle, so there's minimal tightness after cleansing. While it doesn't feel slippery, it leaves my skin feeling soft, which I like. The ingredients are so skin-friendly that I'm using it liberally. I've been using it daily and it's been working well for me.
ConsIf water gets on the cap, the powder hardens and blocks the opening. Also, the amount you get is so small that even though it's cheap, it doesn't feel that way. With the price increase, considering the small amount, it doesn't feel as cost-effective anymore. I understand enzyme powders are expensive, but I wish they'd sell it in larger quantities.

However, it's turned out to be the most satisfying powder wash I've ever tried! u25cb At just 30g, it's small enough to fit in my pouch, making it super convenient to use when I shower at the gym in my building. I've been using it since October, and it's now April, but there's still plenty left - talk about great value for money! You only need a small amount, about the size of a coin, to work up a good lather. u25cb I'm usually too lazy for proper exfoliation, but this leaves my skin feeling like I've removed dead skin cells. While it's not specifically designed for exfoliation, with daily use it seems to naturally refine the skin! u25cb The cleansing effectiveness is impressive too. I typically use a lip and eye remover for point makeup, followed by an oil cleanser for overall makeup removal, and then a foam cleanser. Sometimes I'd still find traces of mascara or eyeliner on my aegyo-sal, which was frustrating. But with this product, that hasn't happened once. It's also great for my oily eye area - I used to get styes if I didn't clean thoroughly, but this product cleanses the eye area gently yet effectively. u25cb The hydration is top-notch! My gym is in the basement, so I usually shower there and do my skincare routine when I get back home. With this cleanser, my skin doesn't feel tight at all during that time (and I live above the 10th floor, so it takes a few minutes). u25cb As a vegetarian, I love that it uses 99.9% biodegradable plant-derived surfactants, making it eco-friendly. It's a win for my skin and the environment!
ConsIt's not really a downside, but more of a heads-up: be careful not to let water get in between the lid, as it can cause the powder inside to clump and block the holes. Just be extra cautious with water!
TipFor my super sensitive skin, I found it best to work the powder into a perfect lather before applying to avoid any irritation!

I use it often since I'm always on the move. It works well as both a facial and body cleanser. I had some blemishes on my shoulder, but they disappeared after two days of use. It's gentle and lathers well (even when the foam got in my eyes, it didn't hurt). I didn't experience any skin irritation (though I don't use it before applying makeup). The granules dissolve into foam, which seems to help with dead skin cell removal. In the morning, my skin looks bright and clear. Since it's a fermented product, those who've had issues with enzymes or fermented ingredients should avoid it. One bottle lasts about 2-3 months with consistent use. My skin feels hydrated after use. I follow up with an alcohol-free toner (Kakadu) or the Pore Refining Toner (AHA, BHA) from the same line, and I haven't experienced any blemishes. Update (08/09/2018): My skin texture has improved significantly. I don't use a separate peeling gel, but when I used this with the complimentary Pore Refining Toner, my dead skin cells disappeared! When I wake up in the morning, I can visibly see the improvement in my skin.
ConsI developed small bumps when I used it in the morning before applying makeup and going out. Interestingly, I didn't have any issues when using it at night before bed. I'm not sure why, but it doesn't seem to suit pre-makeup use, so I only use it for evening skincare now. The quantity is a bit less compared to other products. They say it's because they use many high-quality ingredients and can't lower the cost further. (I was hesitant because I usually react to fermented products, but surprisingly, this one didn't cause as many blemishes.) It's a low pH powder cleanser, so after use, the skin feels smooth rather than squeaky clean. If you're someone who feels uneasy unless your skin feels squeaky clean after cleansing, I'd recommend trying a different product.
TipDue to summer humidity, the product might solidify inside. Store it in a cool place away from water. The opening is small, so if water gets in and the contents harden, it won't come out easily. Be careful with storage. (The lid doesn't close very tightly, so if you put it in a shower caddy, it's game over.) It works even better with a cleansing brush (microfiber or fine bristles). Use an adequate amount (too little won't lather well - be generous!), create some foam with lukewarm water, and roll it on your face while some granules are still present - it's amazing! (It lathers better this way than just applying directly to your face.) Then, use the remaining foam with the brush for a massage-like cleanse. It cleans thoroughly. I only use this in the evenings. Occasionally, they run special promotions on social media (3+1, 4+1) where you can buy it at a discount. I remember being impressed by the variety in their fermented product line, including essences, mists, and toners. The shipping method (post office or regular delivery) varies depending on how many times you've purchased the product.
