Unlike my previous cleanser, this one seems to effectively remove facial sebum and impurities. After using it, my face feels thoroughly cleansed. The product volume is a bit small, and it's difficult to squeeze out the contents through the opening. I end up having to open the cap completely and pour some into my hand. I wish the dispensing hole was larger. To use, wet your hands, gently massage the cleanser onto your face, then add a bit more water and continue massaging. This helps remove any remaining residue on your skin. - se******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 9, 2020
I love this product! For those dealing with atopic dermatitis, have you heard about starch showers? I used to struggle with atopic dermatitis, but my dermatologist recommended occasional starch showers. This product is similar, containing corn starch and having a simple ingredient list, making it worth trying for those with super sensitive skin like mine. It's also great for those concerned about dead skin cells and blemishes. After hearing that oil-based cleansers can irritate the skin, I've been mainly using this product instead. It feels gentle on my skin, and I don't seem to have any allergic reactions to the enzymes. I'm extremely satisfied as it has significantly reduced my concerns about oiliness and dead skin cells after use. Since I have atopic dermatitis on my hands, it can be painful when they come into contact with rough textures. Initially, there was a slight issue with the powder form of this product causing a tingling sensation when lathering it with my hands before it foams up. However, using a mesh solves this problem. While finer particles might create dust-like effects, the current texture seems to be a better balance. I occasionally use it on areas of my body with minor blemishes as well. - dr****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRednessRecommendedJan 18, 2020
I've tried many powder cleansers, but this one stands out for its great ingredients and feel. The particles are a bit coarser compared to other products. I'm lazy, so I just wet my face and rub it on directly. You can really feel the dead skin cells being sloughed off with these larger granules. Despite that, it dissolves easily in water, so the particles disappear quickly. It lathers up well, so you don't need to spend extra time working it up in your hands. It's also a great size for oily skin types to carry around - my boyfriend even sneaks it when he leaves for work. I'm on my 5th bottle now, and it seems to last quite a while for its size. I'm really happy with it! While it's inexpensive, the quantity is quite small too. It's only slightly larger than a lighter? Like some low pH foam cleansers, it leaves a slippery feeling after rinsing, so you need to rinse twice. The pricing is truly all over the place. There can even be a difference of up to 2000 won between deals posted on the same day. I've purchased it for anywhere between 1900 to 3900 won (and I keep repurchasing). - ru********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedSep 22, 2019
First off, it's gentle and lathers well. While I need to use it a bit more to be sure, for a powder cleanser, it's reasonably priced. I like that it's less drying after washing. Great for travel too. I'm writing this review after using my third bottle. As mentioned above, it lathers well. It's also gentle, so there's minimal tightness after cleansing. While it doesn't feel slippery, it leaves my skin feeling soft, which I like. The ingredients are so skin-friendly that I'm using it liberally. I've been using it daily and it's been working well for me. If water gets on the cap, the powder hardens and blocks the opening. Also, the amount you get is so small that even though it's cheap, it doesn't feel that way. With the price increase, considering the small amount, it doesn't feel as cost-effective anymore. I understand enzyme powders are expensive, but I wish they'd sell it in larger quantities. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2019
I have super sensitive skin and used the Innisfr** Blueberry 5.5 Low pH Cleanser for a year, but after switching to this product, my blackheads exploded, causing me a lot of trouble. It was hard to manage. A beauty YouTuber suggested using a powder foam cleanser just on the areas where blackheads worsened after using a low pH cleanser. I bought this and used it on my entire face for a few days. First off, my blackheads have significantly reduced! The bumpy texture is gone. It cleanses thoroughly, and my skin looks much clearer, which I love. The redness and irritation I used to get after cleansing has disappeared. Highly recommended! It's so tiny! I was skeptical if it was meant for travel, but since you only need to use a small amount each time, it should last about two months. To avoid irritation, they say you need to keep adding water to fully dissolve the granules. - rl*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 13, 2019
This enzyme cleanser is a bit pricier per volume compared to regular foam cleansers, but I snagged it for just $1.90 on social media! When you compare the volume and price to the cheapest cleansers from other brands, it's so much more affordable to stock up on these. The foam is great, the particles are excellent, and honestly, everything from this brand is just superb. There are no downsides. It's small, making it perfect for travel. Two thumbs up! Wishing you great success! Enzyme cleansers (powder-type cleansers) are excellent for treating blemishes and removing dead skin cells. - do*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2019
The foam is light and airy. The ingredients are excellent, and it leaves my skin feeling fresh. It looks hygienic somehow, which is great. Overall, it's pretty decent. Above all, the ingredients are top-notch! The quantity is a bit small, and since it's a powder, it can be a bit inconvenient to dissolve. If you put it in a foam net, all the powder falls through. You really need to cup it in your hands. You have to be careful not to waste the powder and use it efficiently. You don't necessarily need a foam net. It lathers up well on its own. - y4******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2019
I was surprised to find enzyme cleansers can be quite pricey. So when I saw this product on sale at a good price, I decided to give it a try. I figured that since cleansers are mainly for removing impurities and get washed off anyway, it wouldn't be a big deal. I bought it trusting in the enzyme factor alone. Interestingly, after using it for a month, I visited my esthetician who noticed that my skin seemed to be changing from within. She encouraged me to use it frequently. Since I can't go to the spa every day, I only visit occasionally. Realizing that this product was making a difference, I was so thrilled that I immediately bought 10 more! -) I still have two left, but I'm planning to buy more. I think this might become my holy grail product. I'm completely satisfied with both its price point and effectiveness! The quantity is on the smaller side. It's perfect if you're thinking of it as a travel size. You could say it's about a month's supply. When using just water and hands, the lather is quite minimal. I prefer to use a foam maker to create a rich lather for cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2019
My mom, a fermented enzyme enthusiast, bought this product, and I started using it without much expectation. However, it's turned out to be the most satisfying powder wash I've ever tried! u25cb At just 30g, it's small enough to fit in my pouch, making it super convenient to use when I shower at the gym in my building. I've been using it since October, and it's now April, but there's still plenty left - talk about great value for money! You only need a small amount, about the size of a coin, to work up a good lather. u25cb I'm usually too lazy for proper exfoliation, but this leaves my skin feeling like I've removed dead skin cells. While it's not specifically designed for exfoliation, with daily use it seems to naturally refine the skin! u25cb The cleansing effectiveness is impressive too. I typically use a lip and eye remover for point makeup, followed by an oil cleanser for overall makeup removal, and then a foam cleanser. Sometimes I'd still find traces of mascara or eyeliner on my aegyo-sal, which was frustrating. But with this product, that hasn't happened once. It's also great for my oily eye area - I used to get styes if I didn't clean thoroughly, but this product cleanses the eye area gently yet effectively. u25cb The hydration is top-notch! My gym is in the basement, so I usually shower there and do my skincare routine when I get back home. With this cleanser, my skin doesn't feel tight at all during that time (and I live above the 10th floor, so it takes a few minutes). u25cb As a vegetarian, I love that it uses 99.9% biodegradable plant-derived surfactants, making it eco-friendly. It's a win for my skin and the environment! It's not really a downside, but more of a heads-up: be careful not to let water get in between the lid, as it can cause the powder inside to clump and block the holes. Just be extra cautious with water! For my super sensitive skin, I found it best to work the powder into a perfect lather before applying to avoid any irritation! - ga********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2018
I'm on my third bottle because I love that it's free of harmful ingredients and fragrance-free. When you dissolve it well and rinse, it doesn't leave your skin feeling overly squeaky clean, but rather soft and smooth. (I don't usually wear much makeup, just sunscreen.) If you rub it on your face while granules remain, it can be quite harsh like a coarse scrub and cause irritation. It doesn't seem to remove makeup very effectively. If you store it in a humid place, the powder can clump and harden. When the last bit hardens, you can add water to dissolve it and use it as a body cleanser.
