Unless your skin responds well to mugwort, this wash-off mask doesn't provide much soothing or hydration. It seems like one of the less popular masks from I'm From, and since it doesn't sell well, it's rarely on sale, making it more expensive than others. As someone who uses various I'm From products, the Mugwort Mask is disappointing.

Despite containing mugwort powder, it doesn't irritate the skin when washing off. It might be even better to use as the weather gets warmer than in winter.

As someone with dilated blood vessel redness, I definitely felt a calming effect after using this mask

This product tends to have the lowest discount rate among I'm From's lineup, making it relatively pricey. You'll need to keep an eye out for places offering better deals.

I frequently use this as a go-to for calming millet-like blemishes. It's definitely a mask I rely on often, as it noticeably soothes my skin troubles after use.

Mixing with hydrating products and using devices:

1. Mix equal small teaspoon amounts of the mask with a hydrating cream/gel/essence/aloe gel in a modeling mask bowl. Use any texture you prefer, and don't waste expensive products - use up any unused creams, gels, or essences.

2. Apply to your face and gently roll. The Mugwort mask will thicken slightly as you roll.

3. If you have a Medicube device, use the microcurrent mode for a 5-minute massage. Or use a Medica Prime device on firming mode for 5 minutes. (The device may get a bit messy, but it can be cleaned with a wet wipe.)

4. Apply cleansing oil or emulsion, roll to emulsify, then wash off with a sponge.

5. Using it this way with hydrating products seems to reduce dryness the next day, and the microcurrent massage leaves my skin feeling firmer. I'm really pleased with the results - home care is truly the best!

Cons:
1) You don't need to apply it thickly for good results, but it can be challenging to apply thinly. It's especially difficult with a spatula due to the particles. I find using a foundation brush is easiest.

2) If you do apply it thickly, either lay a sheet mask or Dewytree's Double Pad on top, or just lie down to prevent it from dripping.

3) Some people mention it's hard to cleanse off. Instead of trying to remove it in layers, take advantage of the particles for exfoliation. Apply cleansing oil or emulsion on top and massage - it'll exfoliate and feel much fresher.

As someone with atopic and extremely dry skin, my skin barrier is easily compromised, leading to frequent skin inflammation. I've been dealing with atopic skin since childhood, and it seems there are more ingredients that don't agree with my skin than those that do!

Pros:
1) This was the first I'm From mask I tried, and it was so gentle and suitable that it inspired me to try almost all their other masks. I became a true fan of the brand!

3) The texture is a thin brown gel with visible mugwort powder. I love this texture, and as someone who adores wash-off masks, I was sold on the soothing effects and daily use recommendation.

For about a month after purchasing, I used it almost daily when my menopausal flushing or skin heat became intense. You know this Mugwort mask works best when stored in the fridge, right? While it feels cooling even at room temperature, the cooling effect straight from the fridge is absolutely amazing!

4) I'm not sure if this is what mugwort typically smells like, but I enjoy the herbal scent. The gel texture doesn't feel tight or drying on the skin as it sets, which is a major plus.

5) As someone who's used countless jars of Fresh's Rose Petal, Sugar Face, and Black Tea Firming masks from department stores (which often caused blemishes), I had a moment of realization - how had I not known about this affordable, department store quality, gentle, and non-irritating product before?

6) I've tried many I'm From masks since, including the Honey, Fig Scrub, Vitamin Tree, Ginseng, and more. If someone asked which I'd recommend most, I'd say the Mugwort mask is number one.

The reasons are its soothing effect, wash-off format, gentleness for daily use, and noticeable improvement in complexion - it even seems to have a brightening effect. It's all good!

Tip: Try applying a drop of an affordable brightening serum before using this mask. The results are twice as good!

I have some reservations about the mugwort particles potentially causing irritation, especially during periods when my skin is super sensitive.

This mask offers a delightful cooling sensation that helps soothe the skin. Even with just a brief application, its refreshing effect may help reduce redness and calm the complexion.

After masking, instead of rinsing it off, I remove the excess and discard it. Then I just wash off the remaining slick residue on my face. This way, the sink doesn't get messy.

The downside of wash-off masks is the hassle. It's difficult to rinse off and makes the sink messy. Also, the mugwort scent isn't very pleasant.

When my face feels hot and irritated, or when I have a bit of contact dermatitis, this mask provides instant relief and reduces the burning sensation. Its soothing effect is outstanding. It has a gel texture and contains mugwort. The mask stays moist throughout the application and leaves my skin hydrated even after rinsing.

I think it has an unusual scent that some people might not enjoy.

Washing it off can be a bit of a challenge. To remove it completely, you really need to rinse multiple times. The worst part is that it always leaves the bathroom a mess.
