It applies smoothly with a light texture. There's a slight white cast, but it's not too noticeable. These days, I'm only using sunscreen because of face masks, and this one works great for me. It has a bit of oiliness, so if you apply multiple layers, it can make your skin look a bit shiny. - ko****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 1, 2020
As a body sunscreen, this product is refreshing and non-sticky, unlike others that can feel heavy and make you feel hotter. It spreads easily and absorbs well, making it convenient to apply over large areas. The ingredients are also relatively good compared to similar products. It can be irritating when applied to the face. I only use it for my body. Recommended for body use during hot and humid seasons when you need to cover large areas. For facial use, I suggest using a gentler product separately. I'm not sure if it's been discontinued or if they're preparing for a renewal, but it's sometimes on sale for 50% off, selling for around $9. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
It's an incredibly liquid mineral sunscreen that feels as light as water. The sun protection is quite effective. I bought this product because it was advertised as gentle, but I felt a burning sensation after use, so I didn't reach for it often. - 8j********Combination SkinSensitive SkinMay 27, 2020
Hydration is its superpower Skin gets that coveted Inner Glow after application Water-like texture absorbs easily Tends to pill easily Doesn't absorb well, especially when sweating In extreme cases, it seems to roll off like dead skin cells Becomes excessively shiny when sweating Washes off easily with water, causing a burning sensation if sweat gets in your eyes Not recommended as a base layer before makeup Based on the above review, which occurred just from being in direct sunlight, I cautiously suggest it might wash off too easily for use before exercise - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2020
This sunscreen is as refreshing as its name suggests! With its water-like, fluid texture, it applies smoothly and feels incredibly light on the skin. Some sunscreens can be such a hassle to apply that you end up skipping them, but Goodal's is so easy and convenient that I can quickly slather it on even at school. As someone with combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, I often break out with harsh ingredients, but this sunscreen doesn't cause any blemishes at all! I'm truly impressed. The scent is pleasant and subtle, without any harsh chemical odors. Unlike other brands that leave a white cast and feel greasy (I hate when my phone gets all smeared!), this one absorbs well into the skin. It might feel a bit rich at first, but it settles nicely and leaves a fresh finish that doesn't transfer much, if at all, to my phone. That's definitely praiseworthy. Plus, the generous 200ml size and the buy-one-get-one-free deal make it incredibly budget-friendly. I'm a fan of Club Clio, and I've been eyeing this sunscreen on Hwahae for ages. When I saw the offer, I quickly stocked up on four bottles! Checking the ingredients on Hwahae, I found them to be really gentle too. I hope everyone can protect their skin from UV rays with this fantastic Goodal sunscreen that seems to have no downsides! There wasn't really anything bad, but there was a tiny bit of white cast. It's so minor though, I can easily overlook it. I recommend stocking up on about four bottles when there's a buy-one-get-one deal like I did. The generous size means you can use it on your body too, which is a huge plus. I use this sunscreen every time I go to the pool, and it's truly amazing. I absolutely adore Goodal! - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 15, 2019
It was nice to use right when it came out, but that's about it. It leaves a white cast, feels greasy when applying but dries out the skin afterwards. It's too runny, which makes it inconvenient to use, and the smell is awful. Since I have short hair and the back of my neck tends to get dark, I find it okay to apply this product there liberally. - by*****Dry SkinJun 24, 2019
I'm a fan of sunscreens with a white cast, so I really liked this one! It finishes with a fresh feel and isn't sticky, which I love. The size is enormous - I'm not sure when I'll finish it if I don't use it on my body too! The white cast doesn't spread evenly or look natural, which is a bit disappointing. - se********Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2019
I can't really say there was anything particularly good about it. While others mentioned it being oily, I actually found it drying, so I had to use it with a more hydrating foundation. I bought this during a buy-one-get-one-free deal, but it seems like it'll never run out. The white cast is severe, so I can't apply much to my face, and it's quite drying... If I only apply it to my face, there's a noticeable difference in color, so I have to apply it to my neck too. Then I worry about it transferring onto my clothes! Especially on days when I use this sunscreen, my foundation breaks down terribly. It cakes up around my nose and forms little balls under my chin... I guess I'll have to use it on my body this summer. Absolutely no intention of repurchasing. Since it was drying on my skin, those who want to use it should pair it with a hydrating foundation. That way, it won't separate or crack. - dl********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMar 17, 2019
* Note: This review is for the pre-renewal product The large volume means you can use it as a body sunscreen for a long time. The lightweight formula spreads easily and dries to a non-sticky, powdery finish. The gentle ingredients didn't cause any blemishes or redness - it was completely non-irritating. The biggest drawback is the severe white cast. Even though I have fair skin, it leaves an unnatural whiteness, making it impossible to use on the face. Even applying a tiny dot makes the skin too white, so you absolutely can't use the recommended amount. You can barely use a pea-sized amount for the whole face, but at that point, the sun protection is practically non-existent, defeating the purpose of sunscreen. Because of the intense white cast, it's easy to get patchy if not applied evenly. When you put foundation on top, even shades that usually match well look off. The poor adherence causes base makeup to separate quickly, so I wouldn't recommend it as a makeup base. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2019
I guess it's decent value for money... The way it absorbs is similar to a hydrating moisturizer... I'm only using this product on my body. After applying this sunscreen, I keep getting breakouts on my skin, especially around the sides of my nose - it's painful. And what's most important to me, the eye irritation! It's quite severe.
