It gives that dewy glow that looks like a healthy oil sheen. For my dry skin, a bit of shine is actually a good thing! The glow is even more incredible in sunlight!
ConsBe careful not to apply it too close to your eyes, as it can sting and make them water. I noticed other Hwahae reviews mentioning the same issue. I can't believe I only just started using the Hwahae app - I wish I'd known about this ingredient sooner! On days when I can't resist that glow, I apply it to my cheeks and nose, avoiding the eye area. However, it does tend to pill a bit around the edges when applying makeup.
TipWhen you want that expensive-looking glow with a bare face, apply it carefully to your cheeks, cheekbones, nose, and chin, avoiding the eye area. It gives you that 'I just woke up but my skin looks amazing' kind of radiance.

Leaves your skin dewy and radiant. The pump dispenser makes it hygienic to use.
ConsIt really stings my eyes, even when I avoid the eye area. The texture tends to pill slightly on the skin.
TipApply it to your body.

Even for my extremely dry skin... It gives a glow without any white cast. The glow is really something else. It's beyond just moisturizing - it feels so slick with hydration that it's almost slippery. I highly recommend it for its hydrating power and dewy glow.
ConsIt stings my eyes! I bought this from a group order where they said there was no eye irritation, even claiming you could apply it up to your tear ducts... But wow, the eye stinging is really intense. Everything else about it was great, but in the end, I'm searching through Hwahae for a replacement because of the eye irritation.
TipDon't apply it around your eyes! And to be honest, it does pill a bit too.

I've been using it exclusively for almost a year now. I highly recommend it to all you skincare nomads out there. I have combination dehydrated skin that's also super sensitive, so if it works for me, it'll likely work for most people! In some ways, it might be even better suited for those with dry skin, but I keep coming back to this product religiously. Whenever I see group buys, I'm always one of the first to stock up!
ConsThe only slight downside is that it can cause a bit of eye irritation. Just be mindful of that when applying. As long as you avoid the eye area, you'll be fine. The product is so good overall that it's worth this minor inconvenience.

I hate when my skin feels dry! Unlike other sunscreens, this one doesn't leave a white cast or make my skin feel parched.
ConsIt stings my eyes a bit. I wanted to look into why, and sure enough...

They call it a regenerating sunscreen, and while I'm not sure about the regeneration part, I suppose the ingredients are meant for that purpose.
ConsIt really stings my eyes. At first, I thought it was due to air pollution, but when I switched to a different sunscreen, the stinging stopped. After reading other reviews, I'm even more convinced that this product is the cause of the eye irritation.

I bought it after reading many blog posts about this. As a regenerating cream, it feels incredibly hydrating. After application, it gives a glow, which might not suit everyone, but I love how moisturizing it is when I apply it before makeup. - There's no white cast.
Cons- The ingredients aren't as impressive as I thought. Blog marketers claim it's a regenerating cream that even pregnant women should use, but that seems like exaggerated advertising. - There's definitely eye irritation. I was skeptical at first, but even though I'm not usually sensitive, my eyes stung all day. I'll have to find a way to apply less around the eye area next time. The eye irritation is really bothersome. - Considering the price, it's okay if you think of it as a cream. But for someone like me who likes to apply sunscreen generously and frequently, the cost is a bit burdensome for liberal use.

ConsShortly after applying makeup, my eyes start tearing up non-stop. While I don't usually have super sensitive skin, this product really irritates my eyes. Just something to keep in mind.

I heard that the Famona sunscreen was originally launched as a regenerating cream in Finland, but was classified as a sunscreen due to its UV protection properties. I was intrigued by its skin-regenerating effects, so I decided to give it a try. The application is truly smooth, and while it doesn't give an oily shine, it does leave a beautiful glow! (It's not sticky or greasy though.) Although it's marketed as a regenerating cream, I didn't particularly notice any skin regeneration effects. Unfortunately, when I checked the ingredients on the Hwahae app, they weren't as gentle as I'd hoped.
ConsIt's strange how some sellers and group buyers claim this is so gentle and won't cause any eye irritation because of its mineral ingredients... Oddly enough, I experienced severe eye irritation. When I checked the Hwahae app, I found it contains 'ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate'. They should really know better before making such claims about it being purely mineral... Let me be clear: There IS eye irritation! For some reason, my eyes kept tearing up and I couldn't keep them open. At first, I didn't realize it was because of the sunscreen. I even went to the pharmacy complaining about eye irritation and fatigue, thinking my eyes were bloodshot. I bought eye drops, but the stinging persisted. Then I noticed... ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. Sigh. If you're sensitive to chemical UV filters or prone to eye irritation, please avoid this product.
TipSome group buyers are selling this for 40,000-50,000 won, and I've seen the cheapest group buy on Instagram for around 35,000 won. But guess what? I found it on Naver for the lowest price of 33,000 won including 3,500 won shipping fee. And it arrived in just a week. Everyone, skip the group buys and just purchase it individually. It's much cheaper that way!
