(Don't apply too much, just use a moderate amount^^...) There's a slightly sticky feeling when you first apply it, but it sinks in quickly and leaves a 'plump' finish.
Cons21.04.06 Update When left with the cap (lid) facing up and reopened, it drips a little. Be careful.

The skin has improved from dry to normal, with no redness, and has a dull appearance due to postpartum enlarged pores, eye area freckles, and overall skin discoloration. The fluid-like essence texture does not feel heavy or sticky like typical sunscreens, and there is a noticeable moisturizing sensation when applied to the skin. It can be smoothly spread using the hands. When applied all over the face and gently patted in until absorbed, the moisturizing and soft feel is maintained without any uneven application, leaving the entire face with a healthy, luminous glow without emphasizing blemishes or pores. After applying about half the amount of a regular sunscreen and allowing it to absorb, the skin appears clear and radiant. Applying the remaining product then results in a slight whitening effect, evening out the skin tone before makeup application. After cleansing with coconut oil and Dove soap, there is no residue left on the skin, and the toner leaves the complexion refined and clean. With sufficient hydration and moisture provided, a regular amount of sunscreen can be applied, and the skin remains comfortable and non-drying for about half a day. There were no irritations or breakouts when using this product consistently for about a week without changing the rest of the skincare routine.
ConsThe formula is watery, and when stored upside down in a container similar to watercolor paint, the product gushes out all at once when the lid is opened, causing inconvenience. As the product comes out, the moisture inside evaporates, and since too much is dispensed at once, there is no opportunity to apply it in 2-3 layers. Having to apply it all at once and pat it down takes a long time to absorb and does not provide satisfactory skin expression. There was an urgent need to go out due to my child's insistence, so I quickly mixed in a small amount of oil with an all-purpose skin cream, layered it twice, and only applied sunscreen before leaving. About 30 minutes later, I felt a slight skin tightness and the glow disappeared. This seems to be a shortcoming of the essence-type product. When I applied the recommended amount of a semi-matte foundation and spread it with my hands, I felt dryness on my skin. This is also likely due to the essence-type formula and the difference in oil content.
TipWhen facing the dry air of winter, lightly applying oil during the final moisturizing step before sunscreen application helped maintain hydration and glow for up to 3 hours.

Spreadability Personally, I think spreadability is really important when applying makeup on top of sunscreen. Especially mineral sunscreens tend to be a bit thick, so I'm quite picky about choosing them. This product, however, has almost no pilling. It feels similar to a regular cream. 2. Tone-up The tone-up effect is very subtle, which is a good thing as it's not too overpowering. 3. Moisturizing I think the best part is the moisturizing effect. As I have dry skin, sunscreens can sometimes emphasize flakiness and cause makeup to lift. But this product is moisturizing enough without feeling too oily, which is just perfect. 4. Fragrance The fragrance is barely noticeable. Many fragrance-free sunscreens have an unpleasant scent due to the ingredients, but this one is neither strongly scented nor unpleasant. As I don't particularly like overpowering fragrances, this level is acceptable to me.
ConsThe packaging is the most disappointing part ㅜㅜ The opening is quite wide, so the product tends to come out in a gush, making it difficult to control the amount. The formula is on the runny and moisturizing side, so I wish they had used a narrower opening to better suit the texture.
TipBe sure to control the amount when using it, and it will work great.

Moisturizing Compared to other mineral-based sunscreens, this one is remarkably moisturizing and has a smooth application. Most mineral sunscreens have a thick, sticky texture, but this one has a creamy, lotion-like formula that glides on nicely. 2. Minimal Whitening There is some whitening effect, but it's minimal, almost like a tone-up effect. So even when I apply it in two layers, it still looks clean and evenly toned, which is great for someone like me who doesn't use a separate base makeup. 3. Fragrance The fragrance is herbal, which I personally enjoy. Generally, when it comes to sunscreens, the key things to consider are moisturizing ability, whitening effect, and oiliness. Compared to other products, this one is moisturizing, has minimal whitening, and doesn't feel greasy, plus it has good ingredients. It seems to have addressed the common downsides of mineral sunscreens.
Cons- Packaging The formula is runny, and since it's in a tube, as soon as you open the cap, the product starts oozing out uncontrollably. It would be better in a narrower-mouthed container, like a hand cream jar. - I don't know why, but for some reason, it makes my skin texture feel rough and causes reddish blemishes to appear on my face. It seems there's an ingredient in it that doesn't agree with my skin. My sister and husband used the same product without any issues, so it must be something specific to my skin type. - Compared to other mineral sunscreens, this is very moisturizing, especially for dry skin types. However, it's not as moisturizing as organic sunscreens. On the plus side, it doesn't feel as greasy. Dry-skinned folks, keep this in mind when making your purchase.

Tone-up As soon as I apply the sunscreen, my face becomes whiter. It's not an extreme white cast, but rather a natural, healthy-looking whitening effect that I really liked. I went out wearing just this sunscreen, and my friends commented that my skin looked bright and pretty, unlike when I wore other sunscreens that made my skin look pale and dull. Moreover, unlike other sunscreens that can leave a grayish cast over time, this one maintained a natural, bright tone throughout the day. (It almost looks like my own skin, doesn't it?) I think this could be a good alternative to a dedicated tone-up cream. 2. Soft, Velvety Texture At first, the texture seemed a bit thin and watery, and I was worried it would become greasy and shiny over time. But it actually became wonderfully soft and matte, without any oiliness or heaviness. And unlike other sunscreens that can leave a sticky, tacky feeling, this one felt just like my regular moisturizer - light and comfortable. 3. Safe Ingredients My skin is extremely sensitive, and I usually have to be very careful about the products I use. But this sunscreen didn't cause any irritation or redness, which was a pleasant surprise. (It's like a hidden gem for sensitive skin!) I've been using it for about a week, and I haven't experienced any breakouts or other skin issues. I even recommended it to a friend with sensitive skin. 4. Hydrating The sunscreen feels nicely moisturizing when first applied. (The scent is also not too strong.) not too strong.) Just like I mentioned before, it feels like applying a regular cream. It's soft and velvety, but not drying at all. It's more of a hydrating, moisturizing sensation, rather than an oily one. Other sunscreens can sometimes feel tight and uncomfortable over time, but this one maintains a soft, hydrated feel throughout the day. 5. Long-Lasting After using it for about 7 days and during cleansing, I found that it doesn't easily wash off with just water. It also seems resistant to oil, so I don't have to worry about it getting mixed with my skin's natural oils and causing a greasy mess. 👉Conclusion) I will definitely repurchase this once I finish the current bottle! While I did like the A24 Sun Protection sunscreen I tried before based on Hwahae reviews, this Safe Recipe one is personally even better for me. (I feel so lucky to have been chosen as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer - this sunscreen is truly one of the best I've ever used!) Unless I find something that surpasses it, I think I'll just stick to this one. It's honestly highly recommended! As you can see in the photo, my skin looks so radiant and glowy after applying it.
Cons1. Price I didn't realize it when the Hwahae Trial Reviewers were testing it, but I decided to buy it again because I liked it so much. When I looked at the price, I was shocked!! (But if I were in the same situation, I would buy it again. I really like it so much that I can afford this price!) 2. Texture First of all, the sunscreen texture is quite runny. (It's kind of a flowing feeling??) So at first, I didn't know anything and squeezed it out, and I was shocked. It comes out too much, so you have to be very careful with the amount! If you press it even a little bit, it comes out, so if you press it hard with a lot of force, it's going to be a mess! 3. (This is my personal downside.) Cleansing I'm not sure if it's because I'm not good at cleansing, but even after using TISS (cleansing oil) and a cleansing foam, I still felt like there was something left behind. (It's incredibly strong on moisture and oil.) However, if I wipe it off first with a cleansing tissue and then cleanse, it's fine, so I was wondering if I should list this as a downside. (If you use a dedicated sunscreen cleanser, it removes it well!) This is truly my personal downside. 👉Conclusion) There were no real downsides to the product itself^^/ I just really liked it.
TipFor those who say "I don't have a dedicated sunscreen cleanser", if you've tried using cleansing oil and cleansing foam like me but still feel like there's something left, I'd recommend trying a cleansing tissue first! 👉There's really no need for a special tip since the products themselves are already great!

But it's also quite moisturizing and has a nice glide. 🌹 White Cast: No white cast at all!!! 🌹 Pilling: No pilling, and even if you apply multiple layers, it still looks like the first application. (By the way, I'm the type who pats it on gently) 🌹 Glide: It glides on super smoothly, like a very runny cream. It finishes off smoothly and doesn't feel sticky!! 🌹 Moisture: There's not much oiliness, but lots of moisture. So it doesn't feel sticky or greasy at all! 🌹 Brightening: It really brightens up your skin when applied.. Hehe 🌹 Ingredients: 0 irritating ingredients!!!! No stinging, breakouts, or itchiness at all!
Cons🍄 Since I have dry skin, I need a bit more oiliness, but alas, it's so packed with moisture that it felt a bit drying... I usually use an oily sunscreen, so using this product with less oil made me feel a bit tight... 🍄 You need to be really careful with the application amount. Because the texture is so runny, just a bit of extra pressure can make it go overboard... Hehe if you're not careful, it can make you look really white!
Tip🌷 I like to first apply a thin layer of an oily sunscreen, and then put this on top!! Or you can also just layer this on multiple times, and that makes it feel a lot less drying✨

It's like the sweat is just running over my bare skin, without any melting or dripping sensation. 🍒 Fragrance & Eye Irritation Even though I'm quite sensitive to fragrances, I didn't find the scent to be bothersome at all. It has a subtle, lotion-like fragrance. It's not completely fragrance-free, but it's not strong either. I also didn't experience any eye irritation.
Cons🍒 Texture It's not the worst kind of runny, but sometimes when I apply it, I have trouble controlling the amount and it just kind of gushes out. However, this is actually one of the product's advantages, so rather than asking for it to be improved, I'd just advise users to be careful with the application. 🍒 Ingredient Caution! The usage experience and texture characteristics I described above are all thanks to the silicone ingredients. For those who don't get along well with silicones! Especially those with problematic skin like me! (It worked well for me, but) Please be cautious and do a patch test first. Also double-check the other ingredients like rosemary leaf oil that are included alongside the silicones. +) Lately, I've been noticing more caking around the sides of my nose after makeup application. I'll have to check if it's due to the weather or the sunscreen I switched to, and make adjustments accordingly.

Skin Expression I don't have very smooth skin, and I'm actually the owner of a bumpy skin due to millet acne and pores/bumps, but when I apply this, my skin becomes white (not pale, but clear and bright) and smooth. This is the part I liked the most!
ConsI see. So even though there are still some very fine traces left on the skin, it's not that bothersome once you've brushed it off. :) And if you use this product as a base, don't apply foundation by pressing with a sponge, but rather pat it on with your hands or a sponge, and you'll end up with porcelain-like skin! So as long as you handle it properly, this can be the best sunscreen product, even better than others. The other drawbacks can vary from person to person, so you can use it with that in mind, but this point was so inconvenient that I had to deduct one star. 5. Dryness The slightly cement-like, dry finish is not entirely absent, so it might be a good idea to mist your face once in the middle. Even though I'm close to being a dry-skinned normal type, the texture felt very good, and I didn't feel it was drying. It's completely fine for normal skin, but dry-skinned people may start to feel their skin surface getting a bit dry over time. But it's not to an extreme degree. Misting once won't affect the adherence, so you don't need to worry!
Tip1. Don't press and spread it, but pat and spread it. Otherwise, it may smear! 2. It naturally whitens, so don't get too greedy and apply too much, or you'll end up looking like a Kabuki actor. :) 3. Although there are some minor drawbacks, this was the best in terms of usage experience among the sunscreens I've tried. If you're a beauty product nomad, I'd recommend giving this one a try at least once. :)

Coincidentally, I was very fortunate to discover a holy grail product. My skin is normally dry and sensitive, so I can't use just any cosmetics, but this one is not at all irritating. There is a slight matte finish that makes my skin feel a bit taut over time, but it's still better than other sunscreens I've tried. The application is flawless. It spreads like a smooth lotion, so much so that I even doubted if it was actually providing sun protection, but that was just a needless worry. There's no white cast at all, and it gives a subtle, barely noticeable tone-up effect when applied. As my skin is quite dark, I may be perceiving this more, but I did feel my complexion looked a bit brighter. I'm usually very sensitive to scents, and I really dislike the artificial fragrance of most cosmetics, but this one has a pleasant, aromatic herbal scent that I enjoyed. I suffer from severe dry eyes and constantly use eye drops, but I didn't experience any stinging or discomfort when applying this sunscreen. And of course, as I have a habit of rubbing my eyes, that would be painful, but that's just a personal issue. Finally, the packaging was a pleasant surprise. It came beautifully wrapped in a box, with a fabric cover and string tie. It was so pretty that I almost didn't want to throw it away. When it arrived, there was also some strange red ink stain on the fabric wrap, which got on my hands, but I was too busy to take a photo at the time, which is a shame.
ConsWhile there are no major drawbacks, I do have a few points to mention that I noticed while using the product. The formula is quite runny. When carrying it in a bag and needing to reapply, if I carelessly open the cap, the product can end up all over my body. Being so thin, it tends to pour out easily when the cap is opened, and it can be tricky to control the amount dispensed. I've found it helpful to gently tap the bottle upside down before opening to better manage the flow. As mentioned earlier, those with severely dry skin may experience some tightness. However, I believe this can be mitigated by having a good skincare routine and applying the sunscreen properly. The quantity also feels a bit lacking. I used it for about a week, and already it seems to be running low. Of course, this could be due to my tendency to reapply sunscreen frequently throughout the day, but I can't help but wish it came in a larger size. I'd love if they offered a bigger volume option, as I've grown quite fond of the product. Lastly, I have to acknowledge that I discovered this through the Hwahae trial program, so it was a relatively unknown brand and product to me initially. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to try it, and I think the price-to-quality ratio is quite reasonable. However, for those unfamiliar with the brand, it may be a harder sell. If I hadn't been selected for the trial and had the chance to experience it firsthand, I likely wouldn't have considered purchasing it. Given the good formulation and suitability for even student use, the price point may still be a barrier for some.
