It gently exfoliates dead skin cells and is convenient to use while showering. The exfoliation is truly effective. I found that rinsing with cold water amplifies the astringent effect of clove, which also helped with my pores.
ConsI tend to use it up quickly, which makes it more expensive than I expected. As for brightening effects, don't expect much beyond an instant glow.
TipI apply it after cleansing, leave it on while showering, then scrub and rinse off all at once. The enzyme ingredients seem more effective in warm, humid conditions. Rinsing with warm water can cause temporary redness for a few minutes, so be sure to rinse with cold water.

Most importantly, it doesn't dry out my skin after exfoliating. I've heard the pumpkin peel is good for that reason. I apply it thinly on my cheeks since they tend to get red easily, and thicker on my forehead and nose bridge, which leaves my skin smooth. However, it doesn't give me that glow. I've repurchased it once, but I'm looking around for similar products. It's not dramatically amazing to the point where I'd say 'Wow, this is really great!' (Plus, I can't easily buy it domestically when I run out), so I'm giving it 3 stars.
ConsAs expected given the ingredients, it doesn't really work on blackheads. It just makes the skin texture feel smoother.
TipI think it might be more suitable for use in winter when dry, dead skin cells appear, rather than in summer. Even though I give 5 stars, I'm always looking for something better. Here's my rating criteria: ★ Causes blemishes, won't repurchase ★★ No blemishes, but won't repurchase ★★★ Decent, might repurchase if on sale ★★★★ Good, but expensive so looking for alternatives ★★★★★ Great! Will keep repurchasing regardless of price if can't find a proper alternative
