The color is a deep, rich brown without any redness, and it applies effortlessly. I had a work event where I was smiling all day, and it didn't smudge at all. The oval shape makes for quick and easy application. For reference, the top one is the Clio So Simple Liner (pearl brown) and the bottom is the Dejavu Cream Liner.
ConsIt applies so smoothly that I'm concerned it might wear down quickly.

It's a cream pencil liner and clearly labeled as waterproof, which was perfect for me since I only use waterproof products. The dark brown color complemented my black hair beautifully. Being a cream pencil type, it glided on smoothly and stayed put for ages thanks to its long-lasting formula - I absolutely loved that! It allowed me to create thin, precise lines that remained vivid without needing touch-ups. The result? A more defined eye shape that really made my eyes pop! Just follow your lash line and slightly flick it up at the end for a simple yet striking eye makeup look.
ConsIf I had to nitpick, the pencil tip can break if you apply too much pressure. But honestly, that's the only downside. Otherwise, it's fantastic! No panda eyes either, which is a huge plus!
TipJust glide it gently along your lash line for a thin, effortless application.

Staying power: One of the best things about this product is its incredible staying power! After applying and letting it dry for a few seconds, it doesn't smudge at all even when rubbed. It's so long-lasting that you really have to scrub hard to remove it. Even using makeup wipes, it was difficult to take off - that's how good the staying power is. 2. Color: The color is a natural dark brown, which doesn't make you look too intense or mature. As a student, I found this perfect. It's an excellent choice for students who want a subtle look. 3. Application: The oval-shaped tip makes it easy to apply, even for beginners like me.
Cons1. Design: The exterior design isn't particularly attractive, which is a bit disappointing. 2. Texture: When applying, it feels more like a pencil than a smooth applicator. You need to find the right pressure - applying too lightly doesn't show up well, but pressing too hard makes the lines too thick. This might require some practice, especially for complete beginners. 3. Pigmentation: The color payoff is a bit weak, but this could be a matter of personal preference. While some might appreciate the natural look, those seeking a bolder appearance might find it lacking.
TipFor beginners who aren't yet comfortable with creating a sharp tail, using a cotton swab to refine and sharpen the edges can be a simple and effective technique.

The oval shape allows for a smooth, thin line when applied at an angle. It glides on effortlessly without smudging. I use brown instead of black, which can look too harsh. The brown shade complements my complexion without looking out of place, and it's perfect for creating subtle eye looks. It doesn't scream 'I'm wearing eyeliner!' which I love. I've tried brush pens, liquids, and gels, but this classic pencil is the most user-friendly. I used to buy it in Japan, but now it's available at Olive Young, making it even more convenient to purchase.
ConsBeing a pencil, there is some smudging over time. However, it just fades a bit rather than creating messy smears.
