It makes my skin feel incredibly soft and smooth. There might be a slight brightening effect, but it's very subtle. I can't think of any downsides. Moisturizing and refreshing with absolutely no irritation. The pads are gentle too. When you're sweaty, just wipe with it and voila! The odor disappears in a flash. It's hydrating, but absorption is a bit slow. You need to fan it a bit to dry. I used to have sweaty armpits, unpleasant odors when wearing clothes, and a sticky feeling under my arms. But after using these underarm pads post-shower, I no longer experience sweating or stickiness, and my armpits stay fresh even after a full day. I highly recommend these to anyone sensitive about underarm secretions. I wish there were more than 60 pads in a pack. Also, the pads tend to stick together, so you need to separate them by hand one at a time. I use these pads after showering, not just for my underarms but also for areas with dead skin cells. I also apply them to areas with discoloration, especially on my heels, big toe joints, and parts of my feet that have been stained from wearing shoes. Out of all the pads I've tried, this one was the best at removing impurities. It seems to be really effective at exfoliating dead skin cells. The pads didn't contain much essence, so they weren't very hydrating.

It's refreshing and clean, perfect for summer use. Especially great for behind the ears, underarms, and back of the neck. Even with vigorous rubbing, it doesn't pill or leave residue. The scent isn't overpowering either. Since it's for body use, I wish the pads were larger. The difference in texture between the two sides isn't very noticeable. I've been using this for years, so many bottles I've lost count! It's fantastic for a quick swipe on my underarms, elbows, and ankle bones. I absolutely love it for those areas! I initially started using it for brightening, but now I'm using it for keratosis pilaris on my arms! After exfoliating and wiping my arms with these pads, it seems like the keratosis pilaris is gradually fading!! I'm diligently using multiple pads to clean the back of my neck, elbows, underarms, and other areas. While the effect isn't dramatic, I feel like something's missing without them... Unfortunately, there's hardly any brightening effect. I'm just using it like a body wipe, similar to how you'd use a face pad!
