First off, the texture is lightweight and doesn't feel viscous at all. Because of this, it seems to cleanse every nook and cranny effectively - the cleansing effectiveness is fantastic! I have wide pores and overactive sebum production, so most cleansing foams don't do a thorough job. However, this product tidies up sebum, dead skin cells, and skin texture all at once. After washing, I noticed a significant difference in my skin texture compared to other cleansing products. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone struggling with similar skin concerns!
ConsWhile I personally don't have any complaints, I don't think those with delicate or super sensitive skin, or even those with normal skin, would find it as beneficial as I did.
TipIf you use Senka Cleansing Oil followed by Senka Cleansing Foam as a second cleanse, it cleans well but can be drying. Applying a generous layer of snail cream afterwards helps combat that dryness.

As someone who used to only use oil cleansers, I don't feel any residue after washing. However, those accustomed to foam cleansers might find it slightly less refreshing
ConsNot sure about its effectiveness on blackheads Slightly irritates eyes, though less than dedicated eye makeup removers Still, it's great at removing makeup overall

It feels quite light, refreshing, and very watery. It has a really fluid consistency, so I thought if you use a generous amount, you could massage it into your skin without any irritation! I tried removing some heavy makeup with the Senka Clear Oil. First off, I was impressed that it removed the intense makeup in one go! After rinsing with water, my skin didn't feel tight and was nicely moisturized. The cleansing was thorough without leaving any oily residue.
ConsWhile it's said to help with blackheads, I've used almost half the bottle and haven't seen much difference. I think the effect on blackheads might vary from person to person. Also, when my skin was feeling sensitive and I used this oil, it made my skin a bit itchy. So I found it a bit difficult to use thinking it was a very gentle oil.

Cleansing effectiveness It removes mascara and eyeliner well. I bought this product in a hurry at Olive Young when I forgot to bring my lip and eye remover on a trip, and it cleaned everything off nicely when I gently massaged it on my eyes! It even removes waterproof mascara effectively! 2. Refreshing feel Despite being an oil, I thought it might feel heavy and oily after washing, but Senka oil doesn't leave much residue. It feels incredibly refreshing and watery. Just the right amount of hydration? 3. Can cleanse with wet hands As mentioned earlier, it rinses off well with water, so there's minimal residue 4. Scent The scent is so neutral that there's nothing to love or hate about it!
Cons1. Eye irritation Although it's an all-clear oil, it's actually too irritating to focus on removing mascara. Even if a little gets in your eyes, it stings and hurts a lot. I've judged it to be irritating, so I'm always a bit scared to use it. Rather than using this to remove eye makeup from the start, it might be better to use a lip and eye remover first, followed by a gentle cleanse with this product. 2. Ingredients Mineral oil, fragrance, PEG, and other not-so-great ingredients are at the top of the list. I'm not sure if this is why it stings my eyes. Also, BHT, an ingredient known to cause allergies, is quite high up on the list. I suddenly had an unexplained allergic reaction in my eyes and had to go to the ophthalmologist for medicine, ointment, and eye drops. I wonder if it's because I've been using this product regularly... I'm not entirely sure of the exact cause, but after experiencing this allergic reaction in my eyes for the first time, I'm uncomfortable and no longer using this product.
TipMake sure to follow up with a foam cleanser after using this cleansing oil. The oil can clog pores and potentially cause blemishes!

As someone who doesn't wear makeup often but believes in thorough cleansing when I do, Cleansing Oil is a must-have. The texture is incredibly rich, and it effortlessly removes all traces of makeup. Compared to using just cleansing water, it definitely gives a sensation of cleansing deep into the pores for a more thorough clean.
ConsIt's a Japanese product... and it's disappointing that it contains many harmful ingredients.

As it's a cleansing oil, you can use as much as needed on your bare face after makeup. I found that massaging it in circular motions, both clockwise and counterclockwise, helps remove makeup more effectively. Here's a pro tip: Pay extra attention to your nose area to dissolve blackheads, whiteheads, and excess sebum. Once you feel like most of your makeup has been removed, dampen your hands slightly and massage your face once more before rinsing. That's it! Even though it's a cleansing oil, I use it on days when my skin is particularly oily. It works wonders when applied just to the nose area. Since I started using this, I haven't needed to use pore strips at all!
ConsWhile it's great at removing face makeup, it struggles a bit with eye makeup. It's not that it doesn't remove it, but it can sting if it gets into your eyes. Because of this, I recommend using a separate eye makeup remover for that area.

It effectively removes even heavy makeup, leaving my skin feeling clean and fresh. What I loved most was how easily it rinses off with water, unlike other cleansing oils that tend to leave residue. The Senka All Clear Oil cleanses thoroughly and leaves my skin feeling impeccably clean.
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it's that I won't be purchasing it again due to it being a Japanese product.
TipFor best results, use cleansing wipes on your eyes, eyebrows, and lips before applying this product.

Initially, I didn't know how to use it properly to remove sebum, so I just randomly rolled it around and washed it off quickly. Now that I've learned the correct method, it's amazing how well it removes sebum! It even takes off eyeliner effectively with just a few gentle rubs!
ConsBe careful when rolling it around your eyes - if it accidentally gets in, it can really sting! That's why I always do my eyes last when cleansing.
TipI found that using about 3 pumps and focusing on rolling for 5-10 minutes, especially around areas with more sebum, really helps. You can actually feel the little grains of sebum coming out!

It removed base makeup well, and even effectively cleansed point makeup like eyes and lips. After the first cleanse, my skin felt thoroughly clean! (Great for removing heavy makeup!) ✓ Texture - Rather than a heavy, oily feel, it has a light oil texture. I liked how it flowed smoothly when pumped, without any stickiness! I'd recommend it for those with oily skin. ✓ Can be used with wet hands - I tried cleansing with wet hands and it still worked well. Being a water-based formula, it rinses off easily! ✓ Effective on waterproof products - I use waterproof mascara, and this removed it better than I expected. ✓ Mild scent - Should be fine for those sensitive to fragrances. I used it comfortably without any aversion to the scent.
Cons⚠️ Eye area irritation - Ever since I started using this product, the area around my eyes stings and hurts when doing point cleansing. It doesn't seem to be a gentle formula! ⚠️ Caused pustular acne - I originally had sensitive skin with small bumps, but after switching to this cleanser, those bumps turned into pustular acne and I started getting more blemishes. ⚠️ So-so after-feel - After cleansing with this oil, it felt like my skin wasn't completely clean, and the slippery residue was disappointing. ⚠️ Contains 4 out of 20 caution ingredients and citric acid - I bought this cleansing oil before I knew about problematic ingredients. When I checked the Hwahae app, I was surprised to find it contains 4 out of 20 caution ingredients, including citric acid which has never agreed with my skin. It's used as a pH adjuster and fragrance ingredient, chemically balancing the pH. Those with sensitive skin should be especially careful with the ingredients!
Tip- When cleansing around the nose area, massage in circular motions. Then rinse thoroughly with water! - After the first cleanse, follow up with a gentle cleansing foam for the second cleanse.

ConsIt stings my eyes so much they turn red. There's also a bit of tightness after use.
