First off, the texture is lightweight and doesn't feel viscous at all. Because of this, it seems to cleanse every nook and cranny effectively - the cleansing effectiveness is fantastic! I have wide pores and overactive sebum production, so most cleansing foams don't do a thorough job. However, this product tidies up sebum, dead skin cells, and skin texture all at once. After washing, I noticed a significant difference in my skin texture compared to other cleansing products. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone struggling with similar skin concerns!
ConsWhile I personally don't have any complaints, I don't think those with delicate or super sensitive skin, or even those with normal skin, would find it as beneficial as I did.
TipIf you use Senka Cleansing Oil followed by Senka Cleansing Foam as a second cleanse, it cleans well but can be drying. Applying a generous layer of snail cream afterwards helps combat that dryness.

ConsI'm not sure about its effectiveness on blackheads, but if it gets in your eyes, it really stings

I purchased it to manage and remove sebum from my nose, forehead, and chin areas. Here's my review after using it for a few months. Originally, I only had occasional small pimples on my forehead, but due to mask-wearing and job-hunting stress, my entire face became a battleground of cystic acne, whiteheads, and dermatitis. This led to an insane increase in sebum production all over my face. - Application: The texture is slightly viscous but still quite runny, so you need to apply it quickly after pumping it onto your hand. It glides on smoothly across the entire face. - Sebum removal: While I can't compare it to other oil products as I haven't tried them, I'm extremely satisfied! You can actually feel the sebum being removed when you massage it all over your face. - How to use: After removing eye and lip makeup with a dedicated remover, I applied this all over my face to remove makeup and rolled it on areas with excess sebum. Three pumps are more than enough to cover the entire face generously. I first rinsed off some of the oil with water, then followed up with a foam cleanser for thorough cleansing.
ConsAlthough it claims to remove mascara, it stings if you get it too close to your eyes. It's crucial to avoid getting it in your eyes when rinsing with water.
TipThis was one of the products recommended by a staff member at Olive Young when I was deliberating for a while. Since it was my first time using an oil cleanser and I wasn't sure how to use it, they explained it to me and emphasized that it's an 'oil that doesn't require emulsification!' When cleansing, I slightly emulsified it by wetting my hands, then removed it and followed up with a foam cleanser. This method prevented any blemishes from the oil. I feel like I've been using it for ages, but the amount hasn't decreased much. I definitely recommend it!

Plus, it seems to be effective at clearing out sebum too.
ConsIt stings if it gets in your eyes, which is a bit of a downside. But other than that, everything else about it is fine.

It really feels like it's pulling out all those pesky blemishes. That satisfying sensation when you feel the gunk coming out is just amazing!
ConsThe downside is that the ingredients list could be better. While I didn't notice my skin getting worse while using it, there's still a tiny nagging feeling in the back of my mind about it.
TipPro tip: Soak your hands in lukewarm water to warm them up before massaging. It helps the product work even better at clearing out those pores!

I'm quite satisfied with it. It works so well that it makes me wonder if any oil cleanser would do the job for removing sebum. Of course, a gentler option would be preferable.
ConsSince it's a product that can be used on wet skin, it's not easy to see the emulsification process clearly.
TipI don't apply oil cleansers all over my face, just on specific areas where needed. This seems to help reduce the chances of blemishes. Be careful when using oils, as overuse can lead to skin issues!

As it's a cleansing oil, you can use as much as needed on your bare face after makeup. I found that massaging it in circular motions, both clockwise and counterclockwise, helps remove makeup more effectively. Here's a pro tip: Pay extra attention to your nose area to dissolve blackheads, whiteheads, and excess sebum. Once you feel like most of your makeup has been removed, dampen your hands slightly and massage your face once more before rinsing. That's it! Even though it's a cleansing oil, I use it on days when my skin is particularly oily. It works wonders when applied just to the nose area. Since I started using this, I haven't needed to use pore strips at all!
ConsWhile it's great at removing face makeup, it struggles a bit with eye makeup. It's not that it doesn't remove it, but it can sting if it gets into your eyes. Because of this, I recommend using a separate eye makeup remover for that area.

Your fingers might get a bit sore, but you can feel a sense of satisfaction...
ConsI have somewhat sensitive skin, and after using this, even areas without wounds feel a bit tingly and burning. It gives me the impression that it might not be good for the skin...?

It worked well for removing sebum while doing an oil cleanse. After washing, my skin felt wonderfully soft and hydrated!
ConsI'm looking for an alternative product to replace this Japanese one. It stings terribly if it gets in your eyes, making it impossible to open them.

Initially, I didn't know how to use it properly to remove sebum, so I just randomly rolled it around and washed it off quickly. Now that I've learned the correct method, it's amazing how well it removes sebum! It even takes off eyeliner effectively with just a few gentle rubs!
ConsBe careful when rolling it around your eyes - if it accidentally gets in, it can really sting! That's why I always do my eyes last when cleansing.
TipI found that using about 3 pumps and focusing on rolling for 5-10 minutes, especially around areas with more sebum, really helps. You can actually feel the little grains of sebum coming out!
