This product has become a staple for me, an oil nomad who's finally settled. As someone with sensitive skin who only applies basic skincare and sunscreen before going out with a mask on, I wanted a gentle yet effective cleanser. This one is truly mild, fragrance-free, with only the natural scent of its ingredients, which I appreciate. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight at all and maintains its hydration. I use it for my first cleanse, thoroughly removing makeup, and sometimes follow up with a foam cleanser or just use the oil alone. I feel like it's making my skin healthier. No blemishes, and it provides a gentle, not-too-harsh cleansing. It's a product I absolutely love. The pink, thin texture of this product is quite different from traditional oil cleansers, which was initially surprising and made it feel a bit stiff to use. However, when it becomes slightly difficult to spread all over your face, mixing in a little water helps improve this minor drawback. It's gentle enough that you can cleanse twice if needed without worrying about irritation, leaving your skin less dry but still refreshed. While those with oily skin might find it less invigorating than I do with my dry skin, it definitely doesn't cause any tightness, which is fantastic. The fact that it doesn't cause any blemishes makes me want to repurchase it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2020
The scent is not overwhelming, and it has a pleasant, gentle feel. It also causes minimal irritation. It's not quite a deep cleansing product, so it's more suitable for removing light makeup. Use it like an oil cleanser, then lightly wet your hands and emulsify it. After that, it foams up for a thorough cleanse. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 20, 2019
The ingredients are great, it's not drying, and it removes makeup effectively. Since switching to La Peau, my skin feels much more comfortable. While it works well for my dry skin, those with oily skin might want to test it first. - sk****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2019
♥ Gentle cleansing without any skin tightness ♥ How to use: Shake the bottle a few times, pump 4-5 times, and gently massage it onto your face. It will create a foam. Softly roll the foam around your face while cleansing, then rinse with water! It seems a bit pricey for the amount you get, but the ingredients are good and it's gentle, so I'll keep using it. If you feel like it hasn't cleaned thoroughly enough after using this, try lightly wiping with Tony Moly's Ceramide Toner and let it absorb. It'll make your skin even more hydrated! - ga******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2019
My skin feels less tight even when I only apply toner after cleansing. I used to always order Biotherm Cleansing Milk, but I like this one even better! It's not easy to find everywhere. Honestly, I can't think of any drawbacks! Here's a tip: Shake the bottle well, then pump some into your hands. Gently massage it onto your face like you're applying oil. Next, wet your hands slightly with lukewarm water and continue massaging - it'll start to foam up. Then just rinse it off. The key is to use a generous amount without adding water at first! - sw*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2019
It's incredibly gentle and moisturizing! There's absolutely no tightness after washing. I love that it combines the best of both oil and foam cleansers! As gentle as it is, its cleansing effectiveness is on the milder side. However, you don't need a separate first cleanser - just use this product twice and you're good to go! - sh*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2018
I've been struggling with atopic dermatitis. My skin was all inflamed, and my cheeks were peeling. Despite that, using this product didn't cause any pain, which confirms that the ingredients are truly gentle on the skin. I followed the instructions, but there was no mention of the amount to use, so I went with 3 pumps. At first, I thought I might not have used enough, or maybe it was because of my skin condition, but it felt like my face absorbed all the oil too quickly. It's probably best to gently massage it into the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 17, 2018
The texture feels refreshing, and I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes! The only downside is that it's a bit inconvenient to purchase since you can't find it in stores like Olive Young. - tp******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 26, 2018
My dermatologist insisted I use this, so I did. It removes makeup effectively. They recommended using just this one product for cleansing. I knew oil-based products didn't suit me, but the clinic strongly recommended it. After using it, my skin reacted badly, so I stopped immediately. I had to apply steroid ointment to calm it down. They say the emulsification process is the most crucial part.
