For reference, I'm between shades 21.5 and 22.5. - Hydration: When it comes to cushions, it's all about that moisture, right? This product didn't crack or dry out, and kept my skin feeling hydrated throughout the day. - Price: Usually, good cushion foundations cost around $20-$30, but this one is priced at about $9.90, making it one of the more affordable options. In terms of value for money, I'd say it's pretty good.
ConsNow, let's talk about the downsides. - Pore-clogging: The way it settled into the pores around my nose area was no joke. Up close, it looked almost disturbing. It also seriously emphasized my blackheads. I can't count how many times I had to remove and reapply my makeup because of this issue. - Itchiness: I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but I kept feeling itchy when using this product, which didn't happen with others. - Staying power: It breaks down in less than an hour. And when it does, it's not even a graceful fade. - Transfer: After a phone call, I noticed the foundation had transferred onto my phone screen. I had to touch up my makeup. - Miscellaneous: When I applied eyeshadow over this cushion on my eyelids, products that usually work well for me started to cake up. The gradation didn't blend properly, and the color payoff was poor.
TipOh, and the product tends to dry out quickly, but if you flip the sponge over while wearing vinyl gloves, it applies as good as new.
