I bought this based on Hwahae's recommendation, and it's truly amazing. It has that unique essence-like texture, but it's not oily and absorbs quickly. Most importantly, after using it for about two days, I noticed a real improvement in my skin texture when I washed my face the next morning. The price is a bit steep, but I think I'll keep using it. If you have a chance to buy it duty-free, you should definitely grab it. If you keep it in the refrigerator and use just a small amount with the dropper, it seems like it will last for a long time. - bo********Combination SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2019
I bought this product along with an eye cream after being persuaded by the sales pitch. Unlike many serums and ampoules that feel sticky when applied despite being thin, this one isn't sticky at all, which I love. As the instructions suggest, you can apply 3 drops - one on each cheek and forehead - and it's enough to cover your entire face. At first, it might feel slightly tacky, but it absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch. It also gives a subtle glow while providing hydration. However, this alone isn't enough, so you definitely need to follow up with a moisturizer. But since you'd apply a cream after any serum or ampoule anyway, I prefer something less sticky even if it's slightly less hydrating. The non-sticky texture is what I love most about this product! The biggest downside is definitely the high price. I'm not sure if I can afford to repurchase it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2019
You can feel each drop absorbing instantly into your skin. It's so effective that you'll want to savor every precious drop! The price is admittedly on the higher side, which is a bit of a drawback. However, purchasing it at duty-free shops makes it somewhat more affordable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2019
The absorbs is absolutely top-notch! I have dry skin, but I absolutely despise anything sticky, and this isn't sticky at all, which I love. It's not oily either. While it might not feel intensely hydrating, I've been using this exclusively for years because I can't find anything else that moisturizes without being sticky. It's so expensive! Because of its nature, you use it up faster than cream formulations, and the price is really burdensome. Also, after prolonged use, the rubber part at the top of the dropper sometimes separates from the cap. I think it works best when applied in thin layers multiple times. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2018
It's incredibly moisturizing and I absolutely love it! The dropper packaging is also fantastic. The price is so wicked that I only buy it duty-free, unfortunately. - sh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 13, 2018
- Skin texture: When I was abroad, it wasn't easy to match the skincare routine I used in Korea, so I tried the entire Bobbi Brown line. This was one of the gems I discovered. While it's not dramatic, using it consistently has definitely improved my skin texture, so I'm sticking with it. - Dropper design: It might seem insignificant, but the slightly curved tip makes it easy to apply directly to the skin. - Price: It's expensive... Just because there are pricier options doesn't make this one cheap. Occasionally, you can snag it for less at duty-free shops. - Container: If you're carrying it around, the case feels fragile and heavy. If the price were more reasonable, I'd love to have a travel-sized version too, but it's costly. Before settling on this, I used Caudalie and Estée Lauder. Their product quality wasn't bad either, so I'll share my thoughts: (Skin type: Prone to redness, fair, dry with fine lines and visible pores, lacking in oil and moisture balance, super sensitive skin but unsure to what exactly, struggle to find suitable skincare) - Caudalie: Doesn't cause blemishes and hydrates well. Relatively affordable with a clean formula. The effects weren't dramatically noticeable, but at least my skin didn't worsen. - Estée Lauder: Surprisingly, their fermented product worked well for me (I've had many failures with fermented ingredients). Makeup applies beautifully over it. I want to use it generously, but the price makes me subconsciously conserve it. Quite a few people around me find it doesn't suit their skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 30, 2018
My friend gifted this to me, and I love it! It's so moisturizing and absorbs well into the skin! The dropper makes it difficult to use up all the product. Also, considering the price, the amount you get is quite small. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2018
As soon as you apply it, you feel an immediate firmness, and it absorbs quickly without being overly sticky. I have combination dehydrated skin and have been using it consistently for two months, but haven't seen any dramatic effects. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2018
I needed an essence and bought this along with a cream at the duty-free shop without much thought. Oh my, it's better than I expected! I've used about 4-5 bottles each of SK-II, the brown bottle (Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair), Clarins, and Darphin Intral, but this one feels like it's penetrating even deeper than the brown bottle. It's not sticky, and even though I have super sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any irritation. Best of all, it leaves my skin hydrated and firm, improving my skin texture. For reference, I'm in my mid to late 30s. The dropper part is not great. It's too rigid and feels a bit cheaply made. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2018
I noticed a remarkable improvement. My skin texture became smoother, and even at a glance, my complexion looked noticeably better. (I usually get compliments on my skin, but I always saw flaws. After using this, even I thought, 'Wow, my skin looks great!') It's quite pricey... The cost is a bit disappointing, but I'll probably still buy it...
