The best part was the good ingredients. I also liked that the toner bottle has a pump dispenser, so it doesn't pour out too quickly. The simple design and lack of a strong, unpleasant fragrance were also positives. The moisturizing effect was average. While it's a gel toner, it didn't have the feel of a gel-type moisturizer. Pros
The Hwahae Trial Reviewer was great, but my phone broke so I forgot about it. Now that I'm using the product again, I should write a review! You can see from the other Hwahae Trial Reviewers' feedback that I've been using it for over two seasons. In the summer when my skin was really irritated, I applied it three to four layers. In the transitional seasons and winter, I applied it twice before putting on my cream to help with dryness. It wasn't sticky at all and absorbed pretty quickly! I have very dehydrated skin, so this moisturizing gel product worked really well for me.
Cons
As others have mentioned, the scent is the 'downside' - it has a chemical-like smell haha. But in a way, that's also a positive since it doesn't contain any fragrances.
Tip
It also absorbs well when applying makeup and doesn't pill. The moisturizing effect lasts a long time too!

As I have oily skin, I usually avoid thick creams and oils. This product, however, is refreshing and great. It did not irritate my skin at all. There were no reactions like breakouts, dryness, or itchiness after using it. Upon further inspection, the ingredients seem really good! I think even those with sensitive skin could try this product. The hydration is excellent. As I mentioned, it's not drying at all and keeps my skin moisturized. If you're looking for a product more hydrating than a water-based toner, I'd recommend giving this a try. I'd suggest this to those with dry skin who are searching for a hydrating toner. It's perfect for light application in the morning and evening. I was looking for a product without oil but with just hydration, and this was just right for me.

The scent is quite strong. It has a medicinal smell that I don't really like. Those sensitive to fragrance would really dislike this. It comes in a pump bottle. But when you press the pump, the product shoots out quite far, almost like a spray. It doesn't come out in a small, controlled amount. Of course, if you pump it again right away, it's not as bad. But the next day when you use it again, it still sprays out. I got used to it and found a way to use it, but at first, it was getting all over my mirror. The price seems high for the amount you get. When I first received it, I was surprised by how small the size was. These days, there are many affordable, large-sized products out there. When I first received it, I thought it was more of an essence than a toner. This was my first time using a pumping toner, so I was a bit surprised, but I want to give it full marks for its courage. I liked that it could be used hygienically. It's a bit thicker than a watery toner, but after applying it, it finishes off nicely and refreshingly. Since I have dry skin with dehydration, I do the 3-skin method, and applying it 3 times gave good moisture.

Exorbitant price for the volume! Since I have dry, dehydrated skin, I do the 3-skin method... but the volume is... 😢 I don't think the ingredient list had ethanol, but when I apply it, it absorbs into the skin almost like it's evaporating... not recommended for dry skin!

First of all, the ingredients are amazing, and because of that, my somewhat sensitive skin didn't have any issues like redness or breakouts, even if I applied it a bit incorrectly. I absolutely hate anything sticky, but this product is not sticky at all - it's refreshing! It's not drying, but it has a nice, moisturized feel. Since I have combination skin, it might feel a bit drying for those with extremely dry skin, though... The texture is just right - not too thin or too thick. I just need to wipe it off once with a cleansing cloth and then apply a couple of pumps, and my skin feels nicely hydrated.

I don't have any negatives to mention. I plan to repurchase once I finish this bottle!!

First, the toner has a slightly viscous texture, so it does provide more moisturizing benefits. However, it might be difficult to use it as a toner that you wipe off with cotton pads.
