The scent is lovely, and I've used a larger version of this product before. It's convenient to spray, which I appreciate. I bought it to combat body blemishes and back acne, but I'm glad I discovered some ingredients that don't suit my skin. The ingredients don't agree with my sensitive and oily skin. Every time I spray it, blemishes appear exactly where I applied it. - yc******Normal SkinJun 25, 2019
- I have skin that doesn't easily feel dry on the body - I bought this because I find applying body emulsion bothersome. 🌱 Basic Info 🌱 - Texture: It's just like water mist. A pure liquid formula! Literally a water-like consistency with no viscosity - Scent: It's not unscented, but I can't quite place the fragrance. To me, it's like 80% baby emulsion scent with 20% floral notes. The scent is pleasant. However, since it's not a perfume body mist, the fragrance doesn't linger long. That's perfect for me as I get dizzy from perfume body mists. - Moisturizing power: Since I don't have dry skin, I'm not sure, but it wasn't bad for me. It was adequate for spritzing and sleeping as an emulsion alternative in spring, summer, and fall. It provides enough hydration to prevent flaking on the body. 🌱 Pros 🌱 - Perfect for lazy skincare routines. I wanted to take care of my body but found applying emulsion tedious and disliked getting it on my hands. This product was just right. - Great spray power! I use the large size, and it sprays refreshingly. Three sprays per leg is enough to cover everything! - Scent: While it doesn't last long, I love the fragrance. However, it's different from the Dermavi oil scent! For those wondering if it's the same as the rest of the line, it's not. - Absorption: After spraying, if you quickly rub it in with your hands, it absorbs rapidly. It doesn't feel slippery like emulsions or oils. - Although it's said to be suitable for use on back acne or chest, I don't recommend it due to the presence of shea butter and stearic acid. My skin develops blemishes from these two ingredients, so I don't use it on my back or chest! - rl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2019
Personally, I love the scent of centella leaves, so I really enjoyed the subtle fragrance and the soothing feeling as it absorbs into the skin. There's a slight stickiness, but it's barely noticeable. I definitely felt the hydrating and calming effects. The spray nozzle on the product container is disappointing. Very much so! I've used up two bottles, and with both, the spray stops working when there's about 10% left. I ended up having to pour it into my hands to apply. I wish they'd pay attention to details like this. While the product itself is good, the inconvenience of use makes me hesitant to repurchase. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2019
My blemishes were really bad, but after using this, they completely vanished! It's amazing! The scent is really off-putting... Everything else is great, but the smell is just... sigh. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2019
* It doesn't cause acne. While it doesn't reduce existing blemishes... I saw initial improvement on chest acne, but after that, it stayed the same. * Being a mist, it's convenient to use. Just a quick spritz before bed. The spray power is great too! It's for body use, so definitely not for the face! I sprayed it on my neck and got blemishes... Yikes! Isn't the neck considered part of the body? Use it only for the body!! - bo******Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2019
It seems gentle enough that you can use it on your face even though it's a body mist. When your hands are dirty and you don't want to touch your face, but still need some hydration, you can just spritz this on. However, its hydrating power isn't particularly strong. Compared to other moisturizing mists, it doesn't feel like it provides sufficient hydration. - be********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 31, 2018
Pros: Instead of purified water, it contains centella asiatica leaf water, which provides excellent soothing effects. The scent is also pleasant and mild. It's particularly effective in calming blemishes on the back and chest, areas that can be tricky to manage. The semi-transparent container makes it easy to check how much product is left. The spray dispenser works efficiently. Cons: There aren't any significant drawbacks, but if I had to mention one, it might be a bit drying when used alone in the depths of winter. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2018
Attention back acne sufferers! This is a game-changer for clearing up those blemishes! I was skeptical at first because it uses centella extract instead of purified water as a base. But I took a chance and bought it anyway. When I got home and checked Hwahae, I noticed it contained ingredients I usually avoid, like shea butter and stearic acid, which made me a bit nervous. However, after using it daily post-shower, it didn't cause any irritation. In fact, my back acne actually started to clear up! I'm so moved by the results. It's perfect for summer when a mist alone is enough to keep your skin hydrated, and rich creams feel too heavy. (For other seasons, you'll need a body emulsion in addition to this.) The only downside is that when the bottle is more than half empty, it doesn't spray well when held upside down. Other than that, I'm extremely satisfied. The key seems to be consistent use after every shower. When I thought my back acne was improving and skipped the mist for a few days, it started to come back. Currently, it's winter so I'm not using it daily, but during summer I used it religiously every day and saw real results! I've finished one bottle and am already using my second purchase. I think I'll keep using this for the foreseeable future. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2018
The mist format makes it super convenient to use - you just spritz it on after your shower. I'm not really sure about its skin-soothing effects or hydration benefits. The fragrance does give the impression it might have a calming effect though. - fa******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2018
It's more hydrating compared to typical body mists (though you need to pat it in quickly after spraying). Olive Young often has it on sale for half price. I felt like it helped calm some of the little bumps on my skin. As someone with dry skin, I think I can only use this in summer. The spray often doesn't work well, so I have to press it multiple times... The packaging needs improvement. I noticed there's a larger size with a pump-style spray, so I'm planning to buy that next time. It's really inconvenient to apply with this current packaging! As I mentioned above, make sure to pat it in with your hands while spraying. Buy it when it's on sale for half price. With the discount, you can get the larger pump-style bottle for just about 2000 won more, which would probably be more convenient.
