The application is smooth and the color payoff is impressively vibrant. The shade itself is so beautiful that it makes you overlook any other minor flaws. Being a glossy type, the longevity is a bit disappointing. It tends to transfer easily... After applying, if you blot with a tissue and set with powder, it transforms into a semi-matte finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2018
I have a slightly tanned complexion. I usually use foundation shade 23. People have told me this color suits me really well. The application and shade are both great. When I had dry, flaky lips, it accentuated the dead skin cells, which wasn't great. I suppose when your lips are smooth, anything you apply would look pretty, right? - ju***Dry SkinAcne SkinOct 20, 2018
The beauty when applied to the skin is truly unparalleled. It glides on effortlessly with such a delicate, subtle color! When applied to the lips, it's a complete disaster... I wasted my money. For those with dead skin cells, it accentuates them like nothing else, so please avoid using it. It feels like you can barely tell if you've applied anything at all. Absolutely not recommended. - ha******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsSep 3, 2018
- I have a deep undertone, warm-toned but fair skin that's recently gotten quite tanned from sun exposure. - I wanted a vibrant coral lipstick, so I went to the department store to browse. The Estée Lauder lip products caught my eye with their beautiful colors, so I tested them and later purchased online. - I got confused with the shade numbers and ended up buying this product instead of the one I tested in-store. - This shade isn't a vibrant coral, but rather a subtle, coral-adjacent hue. - I was worried it might not suit me since I ordered a color I hadn't tested, but surprisingly, people around me complimented me on choosing a pretty coral shade that looks good on me. - It doesn't adhere well to the lips and feels like it's sitting on top. When I tested the same product in-store, it clung perfectly to my lips and I loved it. The formula must vary by shade. It also emphasizes dead skin cells badly, so I have to pay extra attention to exfoliating my lips the night before using this product, which is quite bothersome. - The dreaded 'yogurt effect'... It's the thing I hate most, and this product tends to have that issue. - Next time, I'll repurchase the shade I originally tested in-store... - dn******Dry SkinSep 3, 2017
I just bought an Estée Lauder lipstick for the first time and I really like it👍🏻 It adheres tightly and despite being a creamy texture, there's hardly any emphasis on flaky skin. It applies smoothly without dragging and has a creamy feel. I can see why people pay this price...haha Creamy texture products usually slip around or don't adhere well, so as someone with dry lips and a lot of flaky skin, it's been really hard for me to find lipsticks. The right balance of moisture, adhesion, application, and color payoff - I'm really satisfied with all of it! I was looking for a coral lipstick with orange undertones. Based on blog reviews, I bought one that was described as orange coral, but it actually has more of a neon orange feel to it! (But it still looks pretty when I mix it with other shades:)) Lip color tones can vary a lot from person to person, so it's really important to test it out before purchasing.
