Kissme mascara has been a top-tier product, highly sought after through direct overseas purchases even before it hit Olive Young shelves 16 years ago. The Long & Curl version in particular is exceptional - it truly makes lashes appear longer with impressive staying power. It definitely lifts and curls lashes beautifully, and the brown shade gives eyes a more moist and soft appearance.

The eyelashes are really long and fabulous, just like a kiss!! The brown color is not too overwhelming and there is minimal smudging.
Cons
However, all these advantages are immediately overshadowed by the eye irritation... My eyes are just too irritated. After using this product, I now know what eye irritation feels like. I've actually been using mascara well, but this product just didn't work for me 😢 The ingredients were good, but... my eyes are just too irritated.

I've tried a lot of decent mascaras from brands like Lancôme, Faux Cils, Missha, and Etude House, and I think this one has the best curling and hold power. Even though I tend to forget I'm wearing makeup and rub my eyes a lot, and my eyelashes are quite long, there's hardly any powder or smudging with this product.
Cons
Regular cleansers or makeup wipes just don't seem to remove it properly - you really need to use a dedicated makeup remover. For some reason, using just this product gives me a stinging(?) sensation in my eyes, they feel irritated and uncomfortable... But it does mean there's less smudging, which is why it's called the 'holy grail' mascara. Just keep in mind that it might be too much for some people, and you might end up not being able to open your eyes properly later on. It really depends on the individual, so I'd recommend trying it out first before committing to buying it.

Umm, to be honest, I don't really use mascara that often! Why? Because cleansing it off is just too much of a hassle for me. The first Maybelline golden mascara I bought ended up getting tossed out because I just couldn't be bothered to cleanse it off before the expiration date. I also bought the Etude House Curl Fix mascara because people said it was good, but for someone like me who finds cleansing a pain, it wasn't that great either (this one got tossed too)... Then I got tempted by brown mascaras and quickly bought the Peripera mascara in shades 2 and 7, and while I used them at first, they too ended up in my closet, forgotten. While I was feeling sad about wanting to use mascara but hating the cleansing part, oh, I heard that this one can be removed with just lukewarm water, so I just had to get it! My friends were like 'mascara should be black', but I tried the brown one and it's really beautiful - mysterious and delicate-looking. I'm very satisfied. I was worried the lengthening and curling formula would make my lashes look spidery, so I just used the volumizing one and didn't even try the lengthening, but it lifts my lashes nicely in a natural way. Oh, and after I bought it, I read reviews saying it's hard to remove with just lukewarm water, so I was like 'oh no, another waste of money', but... I... um... I think... I... was able to remove it?
