Although it's a cream, it feels lightweight when applied. Since it's oil-free, it's not burdensome to use even when you have blemishes. It's quite nourishing.

I have super sensitive skin that's prone to deep dryness and blemishes. My complexion tends to retain heat, which seems to make things worse. Even a little stress causes my skin to flare up with blemishes. At one point, these blemishes wouldn't subside or come to a head, which was really frustrating. But when I apply the Genepeek Sensitive Serum followed by Hwanyu Cream, I experience zero deep dryness, leaving my skin with just the right amount of firmness. Apart from the price, I absolutely love it!

I felt that using the entire Hanyul line of toner and cream might cause blemishes due to its rich formulation, so I kept it light. After cleansing, I used a gentle exfoliating toner, then applied only the Hanyul cream before bed. This routine was sufficient for me.

The price is a bit wicked...! Also, since it's highly nourishing, I sometimes got a small blemish when using it too consistently, so I applied it with breaks in between (like using it in the morning but not at night, or applying it after deep cleansing when my skin felt very dry). The high cost also made me use it sparingly. Other than that, I don't think there were any particular downsides.

The cream isn't too thick, feels moisturizing, and absorbs well into the skin, which I found very satisfying. The scent is subtle and doesn't have that typical herbal skincare smell, making it pleasant to use. I have dry skin, so I need a good base before applying makeup to prevent dead skin cells from showing. Using this cream before makeup kept my skin hydrated and prevented any flaking! When I applied it before bed, my skin remained moisturized until the next day. I really enjoyed using this product and tried to make it last.

I prefer to warm it up between clean hands before applying.

The price might be a drawback, unfortunately. Also, if you apply too much, it can make your skin look greasy. That's why I mainly use it at night before bed. For reference, I have oily skin, so those with dry skin might be able to use it both morning and evening!

First off, being a premium cream from Whoo definitely plays a role. For a traditional herbal cosmetic, it surprisingly doesn't have that strong medicinal scent. The texture is subtle and absorbs well. While it's fantastic, a little goes a long way, so it took me a while to finish. I used it as a skin remedy whenever I needed a boost after using other products. Wouldn't this be the perfect cream for moms to receive as a gift?

Despite being incredibly expensive, when you compare the ingredients to cheaper cosmetics, it's almost bottom-tier. It breaks my heart that I used this for so long. Now I've switched everything to Isoi.

I kept experiencing itchiness and patches of atopic symptoms on my face. Since it happened over a long period, I thought my body was the issue and applied even more skincare products. My mom, who loved this cream, used it for a long time and had the same symptoms. As soon as we saw the allergy-inducing ingredients on the Hwahae app, we threw away all the products we were using. She said the itching subsided in just two days. We feel so frustrated about all the time we wasted.

It's moisturizing and the effects last for a long time. Before checking the ingredient analysis on Hwahae, I thought this was the best cream in the world.

Given its high price, I purchased it from a door-to-door sales representative. I didn't buy any other products but managed to get a bunch of samples in various types, which I'm currently using.

The price is quite steep, which is a bit burdensome. However, since it's so effective, I'd rather invest in this one product than use multiple cheaper alternatives.
