I couldn't even experience the benefits before I had to take it off due to the tingling... I guess the sheet is larger and thicker than other masks, making it easier to apply to the face? My skin is already a bit sensitive with some minor blemishes, but I made a huge mistake buying this mask from Tony Moly in a rush while traveling. I had to remove it after just five minutes because of the intense tingling sensation. My face feels like it's burning now. The product claims to have no harmful ingredients, so I'm not sure what's causing this reaction... - ql*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJun 24, 2022
Lately, as the weather has been getting hotter, my skin has been heating up... As my skin heats up, my sebum and blemishes have been popping up... To address the overall crisis of my current skin condition, I used this mask pack. The sheet is made of a material that feels a bit thicker, like heavy paper. Compared to the Mediheal packs, this one feels a little less soft and more stiff, like paper. Perhaps because of this, the sheet does unfold easily, but when applied to the skin, it has a slightly rough feeling. The essence or liquid inside is also on the lighter side. With Mediheal, the sheet is soaked in essence, and even after using the sheet, there's still plenty of essence sloshing around in the pack. But with this product, there's hardly any essence left. However, it's not like the sheet is overly saturated with essence either. As a result, when applied to the skin, it dries out faster compared to other masks. Most other mask packs stay moist for the recommended 15-20 minutes, but this one starts feeling dry after just 15 minutes. The skin also quickly feels dehydrated. After removing the pack, it feels briefly hydrated, but a few pats with my hands makes it absorb quickly. Personally, I prefer a fresh, clean finish rather than a heavy, greasy one, so this aspect wasn't bad for me. Especially in the summer like now, mask packs can leave the skin feeling stuffy after removal, but this one quickly dries down to a comfortable, non-sticky finish. However, for those who prefer a more hydrated, moisturized feel, this may not be the best option. The biggest problem with this product is that it caused breakouts after using it. Of course, I already have an extremely sensitive skin that's prone to blemishes, so that might be the reason. But after using this product, I started getting more breakouts on my skin... In fact, I did feel a slight stinging sensation while using it, but I just ignored it and continued using it... because I didn't want the purchase to go to waste. But the next day, I ended up getting a lot of new blemishes on my skin. I thought maybe something else was the issue, so I tried using it again when my skin was in good condition. But as soon as I put the mask on, I felt that stinging sensation again and immediately removed it. It seems like there was some ingredient in it that didn't agree with my skin. Luckily, after removing the mask, cleansing my face, and using a Mediheal mask, my skin calmed down. My mom didn't have any issues using it, so it seems like it's just my overly sensitive skin. But for those of you with similar sensitive, blemish-prone skin, you might want to be cautious when using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2021
The mask was moisturizing and comfortable to use. I can't really think of any downsides. It seems to be worth its price. - dm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2019
This mask pack is great for calming the skin, and it contains more serum than any other mask I've used. There's so much that you could even apply it to your hands and feet and still have some left over. I slathered it generously on my face. I love its rich, bouncy texture. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I'm pleased to report that the scent is barely noticeable even when I sniff closely. I'm thrilled to have discovered such a gem, especially since it was a free gift. The affordable price is another pleasant surprise. I'll definitely be repurchasing! As someone prone to blemishes, I felt a slight tingling sensation where the mask touched my acne-prone areas. However, this only occurred initially and seemed to subside, so it should be fine. When you first open it, you'll see it's drenched in serum. For best results, start by placing the mask on your forehead, then generously apply the extra serum from the packet all over your face before securing the rest of the mask. Any leftover serum works wonders on hands, feet, or other dry areas - it's a win-win! - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 31, 2019
The fragrance is nice and the cooling sensation seems good too. It seems fine to apply it in the evening and help reduce puffiness. At first, when I applied it, it was too stinging... Sensitive people should be careful! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2018
I received three samples, and although I don't usually use samples, since there are no harmful ingredients, I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it was amazing! (I saw a few options on the Hwahae app) Lately, my skin has been very dry, and I've had a lot of small red bumps, but as soon as I started using it, I could see my skin calming down. As soon as I took off the mask, the redness completely disappeared...Incredible. I feel like it helps prevent the redness from coming back, so I've been using it as a daily mask lately. It's also affordable and seems quite good. I used to use the mugwort pack, but since it has a lot of essence, this one seems to have less essence. The sheet is also thicker, but I'm still satisfied with it. I don't have any special tips, but I cleanse my face thoroughly, wipe it with Bioderma Sensibio H2O, and then immediately apply the mask. I think it's really important to remove all makeup residue before applying the mask. After that, I apply a moisturizer.
