It's powdery, yet moisturizing? You know, like that velvety airy ink from Peripera and similar formulas from other brands. But the Ink the Gelato texture feels truly unique. And I'm absolutely loving it!
ConsWarm-toned folks, steer clear of this one... I'm warm-toned and can wear most autumn-winter/spring shades except for summer light. When I saw the color swatch, it looked like a coral pink, perfect for a natural lip look. So I bought it. Sure, if you apply it thickly, you get that grapefruit coral pink color. But because of the formula, when you blend it out, it turns into a strong pink like in the right image. Even this photo captures it pretty accurately, I think? But it's different when you actually put it on your lips. On the lips, it's a pink with an even whiter undertone. The product quality is good, but the color... This is my first real lip product fail. If I were cool-toned or had very fair skin, I probably would have loved it. Peripera, if you could make this formula in deeper warm shades, I'd be there in a heartbeat!

It's like a mix of white and pink. Perfect as a base color, and if you want a more intense look, you can layer it for a beautiful result. Application: The smooth application is crucial for matte tints, right? This product glides on incredibly smoothly. When it touches your lips, you get this amazing feeling of moisture and softness at the same time. It's fantastic! Pigmentation: The color payoff matches exactly what you see in the tube. It's just so, so pretty! Packaging: Peripera's signature case design is super cute, and this one seems even prettier than usual. I'm really satisfied. Quantity: While it's not exceptionally generous for the price, I'd say the amount you get is just about right for what you pay. Dead skin emphasis: It didn't emphasize dead skin cells too badly on my lips. For a matte formula, it's quite forgiving. Staining: Well, I'll explain more about this below...
ConsStaining power and longevity: The staying power isn't great, so it's hard to really assess the staining effect. If I had to describe it, I'd say it leaves a milk pink kind of stain - a light, pinkish hue. Applicator tip: The amount of product that comes out on the applicator is too little. It's hard to gauge how much you've used, and you need to dip it in multiple times, which is inconvenient.

The staying power is impressive, and it looks incredibly natural when creating an overlined lip effect. This is what I love most about it.
ConsWhen I swatched it on the back of my hand, it appeared more coral, but on my lips, it had a pink undertone. While the color is pretty, it's a shade that would suit cool-toned individuals better.
TipIf you exfoliate well and apply plenty of lip balm, it doesn't dry out quickly.

This was my first tint ever. The color is a pink-tinged peachy shade. As for staying power, I applied it during first period and it barely faded until fourth period, lasting about 4 hours. Even after lunch, the color was still there, which I found extremely satisfying. I didn't notice any pink staining, though that might be because the original color is pinkish. Whether I apply it as a gradient or full lip, it looks so pretty that I often wear it to school.
ConsThe downside is that it tends to emphasize wrinkles as time passes. However, applying a clear lip balm after the tint helps with this issue. Another drawback is that it contains slightly more potentially harmful ingredients compared to other tints in the same line. Still, if you're okay with that, I highly recommend it! Just be sure to control the amount you apply. Be careful when applying, as it's easy to end up with bright pink lips if you're not careful!
TipI always make sure to apply lip balm before bed when using this product! In the morning, I just wipe my lips with a toner-soaked cotton pad, and all the dead skin cells disappear. If that's too much hassle, you can also apply a deeply hydrating lip balm while doing the rest of your makeup.
