The color is beautiful. It's great for adding depth to the inner corner and outer edge of the eyes. The color is quite intense to use on its own. It looks prettier when combined with other shades. - na********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2023
Minimal excess powder and perfect for drawing a natural eyeliner. The amount is just right for everyday use. The price...? But it's not disappointing. It's worth buying since it lasts a long time. - sm**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessMar 3, 2022
Color: Extremely deep brown, like a dark espresso. It's an intense burgundy without any shimmer. This is the darkest eyeshadow I own. Due to its intense pigmentation, be careful of fallout during application. The color is so rich that you'll need to control both pressure and amount when applying. Ingredients: Contains talc. While MAC is famous for their eyeshadows, the ingredients aren't the best. Application: There's some fallout, so apply with caution. Photo: On the right side of the case. This is the darkest shade among the testers. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2021
It's really great for drawing eyebrows, and you get a lot of product. The color is absolutely gorgeous! To avoid ending up like in the photo, make sure to use a brush. Otherwise, you might end up with results like mine... - ha*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 22, 2021
It's great for adding a pop of color when using other eyeshadows, and you can even use it as an eyebrow powder! Being a powder formula, it tends to fade more easily than other MAC shadows when it comes into contact with tears I've tried using Tempting, Woodwinked, and Mulch as accent colors with MAC's Soba, but personally, I think nothing complements Soba as perfectly as Espresso. To boost longevity, here's my trick: Apply cushion or foundation on the eyelids > Dust some powder over the eye area > Spread Urban Decay eye primer > Apply MAC Soba with a brush, then use Espresso with a pointed brush to soften the eyeliner > Finish by misting Urban Decay eye primer fixer all over. This really helps improve the staying power - s2*********Dry SkinJan 12, 2021
When used as an eyebrow product, it creates a natural-looking makeup effect. The pigmentation is excellent, allowing you to achieve your desired intensity with just a small amount. This product seems perfect for those with dark brown dyed hair or anyone who finds black eyebrow products too harsh. Be cautious when using, as there might be some excess powder fallout. The color is quite vibrant and intense, so I haven't tried it for eye makeup. However, when used for filling in eyebrows, it creates a natural-looking color. - wm******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2020
This is a great shade for creating a soft, smoky eye look! The color payoff is excellent and the quality is top-notch. It's one of those versatile shades you'll find yourself reaching for again and again! When applying, use a light hand and build up the color gradually. If you apply too much at once, you might end up with an unintentionally intense smoky eye! - wl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 2, 2020
This would be great for cool-toned folks looking for a brown eyeshadow without any redness. As a cool summer myself, the color matched me well. The pigmentation is really excellent! I've been using it as an eyeliner substitute. There's some excess powder fallout. Also, the price is a bit steep... Though it's somewhat justifiable since it lasts a long time. - mj*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2020
1. Color payoff without redness 2. Perfect for brown-toned shadow looks 3. Excellent for creating depth with matte eyeshadow 4. Highly pigmented If you love brown-toned eye makeup, this is a must-pick! The price is a bit steep... Be careful of excess fallout due to the dark color. - ja******Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2020
Works great for eyebrows too. Be a bit careful when removing eyeliner. The color is rich and pigmented. Nothing specific. The color is quite intense, so if you have fair skin or apply too much, it might look like bruising.
