First of all, the color is absolutely gorgeous and it's so moisturizing! I'm already on my third one. The staying power wasn't that great, probably because I applied it over lip balm. But my lips are extremely dry, so if you apply it without lip balm and after removing any excess oil, the staying power is much better! - ri*******Dry SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2021
I'm on my third bottle now. The staying power is incredible - it doesn't even come off when eating. Apply it once in the morning, and you can forget about your lips for the rest of the day. The staining power is amazing. It also brightens up my face nicely (I have a cool skin tone). There's a slight 'yogurt effect', if that's what you'd call it... It seems unavoidable to get a bit of a line where it settles.

The scent is lovely, the color is pretty, and it applies smoothly. The staining is absolutely fantastic! It does leave a pink stain, but I love pink so it's fine for me. Those who aren't fans of pink might be a bit disappointed though. It's a slightly cool-toned red (just slightly, not extremely cool!) with a hint of brick red. It looks clear yet has a subtle calmness to it. I prefer using it for a gradient look rather than full lip coverage. The staining, oh my! I tapped it on with my fingers and it stained them, wouldn't come off... The staining seems to be both a pro and a con of this product. I found the applicator tip a bit thick for my liking, making it hard to apply precisely. I wanted to just dab it on the inner part of my lips, but it spread everywhere... and then stained and wouldn't come off! It's great for everyday use. When I apply this as a highlight over a soft grunge base, it looks absolutely stunning. Nothing particularly bad. It's just that the pigmentation is quite intense and has a strong pink hue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 27, 2020

I bought this after seeing the ad - the color was just too beautiful! It's been quite a while since I purchased it, and even though I've tried other lip products, I always find myself coming back to this vibrant shade. After using it for a long time, the outer layer started peeling off, making the product look quite messy. I think it's probably because it's always rolling around in my bag! This might be the best velvet tint I've ever used. First off, the color payoff matches exactly what you see in the ads. The longevity and application are both top-notch - I can't find any faults there. What I love most is that it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells, applies moistly, and then sets to a comfortable matte finish. It's really impressive. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the packaging isn't transparent, so it's hard to see how much product is left. **Review from a matte lip enthusiast** Please note that my lips don't tend to have a lot of dead skin cells and are slightly plump! ✔Vibrant color payoff (applies well) ✔Stains nicely Actually, since the tint color itself is a pink-red... it just leaves a pink stain.. haha ✔Not too drying 'for a matte lip' While everyone's experience may differ, as someone who loves and frequently uses matte lips, I didn't find it excessively matte! ✔Decent staying power ✔Minimal transfer (though not completely transfer-proof) ✅Overall impression Recommended for those looking for a highly pigmented, saturated pink-red lip. It has a slight blue undertone, so I wouldn't recommend it if you don't suit lips with purple undertones. However, I was satisfied with the formula itself, so I'd also recommend other shades in this line! ✔The stain left behind is a typical pink stain..? To be fair, this might be expected since it's a pink lip product! I've listed this as a downside because it stains with a slightly purple-tinted pink! ✔Slight pilling If you apply the lip product while making exaggerated mouth movements, you might experience some pilling, resulting in a darker application on the outer lip line compared to the inner lips. I'd recommend blending with your finger or a cotton swab instead! Application - The application is really great. It glides on smoothly, applies beautifully, and the color is fantastic. Absorption - The absorption definitely varies depending on how you apply it. If you apply a layer, let it dry, and then blot with a tissue, the staying power is quite long. Hydration - To be honest, it's not very moisturizing, so if you're not a fan of matte types, I wouldn't recommend it. - While the application is excellent, it does transfer easily. To improve longevity, the process can be a bit cumbersome. - The price is on the higher side when there's no sale going on. I found that applying a liquid tint first, then layering this on top and letting it dry really improved the longevity. I highly recommend trying this method!
