I picked up the Light shade, but it's surprisingly dark - almost like shade 23. It has a kind of earthy radiance? A little goes a long way with this product - use sparingly for the best results. It seems to offer decent coverage. I plan to use this in winter, as my skin gets dry, so I'm saving it for summer use. While it does darken slightly over time, the ingredients are quite impressive for a BB cream. The downside is you really need to be careful with how much you apply. I also wish the Light shade was a bit brighter. It has a slightly heavy feel, but it's said to be suitable even for sensitive skin. I've been using it without any blemishes popping up. Due to the nature of the product, natural oils may separate, so give it a gentle shake before use.

Why even bother talking about it? I've been using this for 5 years now. My skin is super sensitive, so most foundations make it react badly, but this little gem is gentle and easy to remove. I even use it as a sunscreen substitute! I'll be using this for life~~ It's definitely a gentle BB cream, which might be why it tends to break down as time passes. It's been a while since I've used a BB cream, and I must say: ⭐️ First off, it's so easy to apply with your fingers - that's super convenient. ⭐️ Even when applied by hand, it offers decent coverage (though not extraordinary). ⭐️ Given Dr. Jart's reputation for excellent skincare, I trust the brand. Unlike foundation, which can make me anxious about skin damage if I remove it late, this BB cream feels less worrisome. ⭐️ A little goes a long way for coverage, so I expect this to last quite a while. ⭐️ It has SPF protection. ⭐️ It provides just the right amount of hydration (without excess oil). Compared to foundation, it's really quite ashen. The brightening moisturizer effect is non-existent. I usually use shade 19, but this just looks like my bare skin... after a while, it even makes my complexion look duller! This is a major drawback, though I bought it knowing this from other reviews. For comparison, I've included a photo with Vdl foundation in V01. I've used several bottles of that foundation before switching to this, and there's absolutely no radiant finish with this one. If you're prone to redness, this shade is probably best avoided. It has a sort of reddish-gray undertone. Buying from the official website seems to be the most cost-effective option. It doesn't work well with a damp beauty sponge. The coverage is fantastic! I've been using it for over a decade, since my teenage years! If you don't control the amount carefully, it can pill and look cakey. It effectively conceals redness. I applied it when I had blemishes and it worked well. At first I thought the color was too dark, but it turned out fine. It's really great for sensitive skin! I highly recommend it. Great coverage that doesn't break down messily over time. The rich texture works well for oily skin. I've gone through several bottles! It tends to settle into the creases around the nose as time passes. You'll need to touch up with a cotton swab. Not recommended for dry skin due to its thick consistency. Unlike other products that tend to separate or float on my skin, this one adheres beautifully and stays put even after hours. It's a real game-changer! Despite being shade #1, the color is surprisingly dark. Also, the BB cream leaks onto the cap, making it messy. I really wish they would redesign the packaging!
