I'm writing this review with a grateful heart. Here's my experience: 1. It really works! My melasma... I had a faint but quite wide patch of melasma or hyperpigmentation on one side of my 'butterfly zone'. It was the type that lurked beneath the skin, sneakily surfacing and darkening when exposed to summer sun. When I consulted dermatologists, their diagnoses varied slightly, but the consensus was that complete removal would be difficult and expensive. Since it wasn't too noticeable, I left it untreated for quite a while. I bought about $120 worth of patches and applied them nightly whenever possible. The result? The patch gradually faded and shrunk, and now it's invisible to the naked eye! I still have about one set left. 2. Size, texture, and feel The patch is slightly larger than a thumbnail, with the needle part a bit smaller and centered. Since the microneedles need to penetrate the skin, you need to press firmly when applying it to the affected area. After a night, the needles dissolve into an ointment-like substance. There's a slight sting when pressing, but it's not painful. 3. So, how did it disappear? I can't explain it medically, but different dermatologists diagnosed it as either mild melasma or hyperpigmentation. This year, the affected area briefly swelled slightly and became more visible on the skin surface. I just kept diligently applying the patches, and the area gradually disappeared as if it was being eroded away. I didn't have high expectations when I started using it, so unfortunately, I don't have any before photos. I used this during the summer rainy season. Each pack contains two days' worth, but I found that when using the second patch the next day, the needles had dissolved and become much duller. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2019
My grandmother's absolute favorite product, haha! I'm not entirely sure why, but she loves it more than anything. She says it's really helpful and even seems to work on her age spots. She's always asking me to buy it for her. The price makes me hesitate unless it's on sale. But hey, I've got to keep my grandmother happy! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 1, 2019
I was intrigued by the tingling sensation of the pads, which made me feel like they were really infusing my skin with nutrients. It seemed to brighten my complexion. I appreciate that it can be used not only for dark circles but also for blemishes and acne scars. It's difficult to see results with just one or two uses. Even when on sale, the price is still too high to justify. - qo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2018
Discovered this gem while dealing with dark spots. Hygienically packaged, with two patches per sachet - perfect for applying to both cheekbones. Instructions said to press firmly for 5 minutes, which I did. However, when I removed it the next morning, only a tiny amount of the ointment-like substance had made contact with my skin. Most of it remained stuck to the patch. Apply to clean, bare skin immediately after washing your face. As soon as you put it on, press down firmly with your fingers.
