So I've been focusing on scar management. To minimize irritation, I was only using toner and moisturizer. Even though my skin felt a bit dry, I stuck with it since I wasn't getting any breakouts. I wanted to wait until my skin improved before adding anything new. Finally, I thought, 'Now that I'm not breaking out, let's try something else!' So I bought this cica ampoule that's famous for being super gentle. Application: It has a water-like consistency and isn't heavy, so it's easy to apply lightly. Effect: Compared to just using toner and moisturizer, my skin felt more hydrated. It made my skin feel firmer and more elastic.
ConsI liked how it felt light and hydrating, so I thought, 'Oh, this feels nice!' But given my history of skin reactions, I decided to patch test it for a week, applying small amounts. For about three days, my skin felt firm and I didn't get any blemishes. I thought, 'Maybe I should keep using this? It seems good.' But the next day, I woke up with two red, swollen spots on both cheeks. I didn't want to believe it was because of the ampoule, so I applied it for one more day. But... it turned into an irreversible, inflamed breakout. My skin had been improving so much that even when I got blemishes, they were easy to manage. I'm disappointed, but I'm cutting my losses and stopping use immediately.
TipNo matter how gentle and good a product seems, I strongly recommend patch testing with small amounts for a few days!

That's what tempted me to get this product. As an overseas resident, I went through quite a hassle to obtain it. I'm also quite sensitive-skinned like my friend. Finding the right ingredients is like searching for a needle in a haystack... This product seems to have a clear identity - a soothing ampoule with highly concentrated centella extract. The ingredient list is truly minimal, which I think makes its target audience very specific. If centella works well for you, this product has all the makings of becoming your holy grail soothing ampoule.
ConsHowever, I turned out to be the exception... With over 80% centella extract, this product could either work wonders or wreak havoc on your skin. Unfortunately, for me, it was the latter. As soon as I applied it, I felt an intense burning sensation. Thinking it might be due to my skin condition, I stopped using it initially. After my skin somewhat recovered, I tried again, but the results were the same - stinging, itching, and bumpy rashes on my cheeks, chin, and neck, like mosquito bites. (To be thorough, I tested this product alone, without mixing it with any other skincare items.) I finally concluded that centella extract, which I was trying for the first time, doesn't suit my skin at all and stopped using it. After discontinuing, the mosquito bite-like marks slowly started to fade. Now I'm pondering what to do with this nearly untouched ampoule. It was quite expensive, and it feels wasteful to just let it sit there unused. Finding the right ingredients for your skin is truly challenging... I had high hopes that cica, madecassoside, or centella would work well even for sensitive skin like mine...
TipI imagine this product would be fantastic for those whose skin agrees with centella extract. Oh, and it seems to contain some fermented ingredients as well. If you have extremely sensitive skin, you might want to double-check the full ingredient list. Also, for those with dry skin, this product alone might not be enough. You'll probably need to follow up with a moisturizer.

ConsI had such high hopes for this product, given its popularity and high ranking on Hwahae. But to my dismay, I developed rashes in four spots on my face, like mosquito bites. I'm so confused because it's supposed to have great ingredients. My whole face, eyes, and body felt itchy and swollen, along with the rashes... This happened suddenly after using it for two days. I only applied a soothing gel yesterday, which seemed to calm things down a bit. I just can't understand why this happened when the ingredients are good and even the texture was nice.

The absorbs well was fantastic, and it absorbs well too. I love how my skin feels firm and supple after applying it.
ConsThis product really doesn't agree with me at all. I trusted the brand and bought this because I loved the B.Plain toner and cleansing foam, but after using this for 3-4 days, my skin broke out in tiny blemishes everywhere. I didn't realize it was because of this product at first and stopped using all my other cosmetics, but it turns out this was the culprit. I tried it again just to be sure, and sure enough, after 3-4 days, the small blemishes flared up again. What should I do? I bought two bottles of this... sigh.

ConsIf you have OSNT skin type - oily, sensitive, with redness - this might not work for you, like it didn't for me. The watery ampoule texture seems to irritate skin that can't handle toners. My skin was feeling great with the Real Barrier cream, but soon after applying this ampoule, I experienced a burning sensation, throbbing, and heat. I tried to stick it out for three days, but by day two, I could visibly see my skin worsening, so I had to give up. Thankfully, I only paid 10,000 won for it during a special event.

It felt so soft and smooth!
ConsWithout changing anything else in my skincare routine or lifestyle, I only applied this at night. The next morning, I woke up with a huge blemish on my cheek near the cheekbone area. It wasn't just a small bump, but more like folliculitis - hard, red, and itchy deep under the skin. Usually, I can use Madecassoside cream or Innisfree Cica cream without any issues, and I rarely get blemishes from skincare products. But with this one, I broke out immediately after just one night's use. I bought it on sale, and now I'm wondering what to do with it after using it only once.
TipI have no other use for it. Maybe I should just use it on my heels?

It seems like only those with skin that responds well to centella can truly benefit from this.
ConsI had no idea centella could have such a negative effect on me. My skin is sensitive and delicate, and after applying this at night, it became incredibly irritating and red. I thought it might just be an initial reaction, so I resisted the urge to wash it off and went to sleep. When I woke up, my face was bright red as if I had a severe burn. It was really difficult to deal with for quite a while. If you know centella doesn't suit you, please don't buy this product.
TipAbsolutely avoid purchasing if centella doesn't agree with your skin.

And I really liked that it's fragrance-free, which made it pleasant to use.
ConsDespite the good ingredients, for some reason it stung a bit when I used it. After a few days, my skin developed a rash-like reaction, so I had to stop using it.
TipYou can cover your entire face with just one dropper full.
