Lately, my skin has been calming down a lot, and I only get one or two pimples a week, so I've been diligently working on scar management. I heard the Cica Ampoule is super gentle, so I bought it. 🍔Texture: It has a watery, lightweight feel, and it was easy to apply. 🍗Effects: Compared to just using toner and cream, my skin felt more hydrated and plump.

I liked the lightweight, hydrating feel, so I thought 'Oh, this feels nice!' But since my skin has a history of reacting badly, I decided to patch test it for a week, just in case. After about three days, my skin felt plump, and no pimples came out, so I thought 'Hmm, maybe I can stick with this? It seems pretty good.' The next day, however, both of my cheeks were angrily inflamed and swollen...😭😭 I didn't want to believe it was because of the ampoule, so I used it for one more day, and it turned into an irreversible cystic breakout...😭😭 My skin had gotten so much better, and the pimples that did come out were easy to clear, but now I'm so upset. I was tempted to buy this product after my sensitive skin friend said that her troubled skin was properly soothed thanks to the centella-based skincare products. As an overseas resident, I had a very hard time sourcing this product. I also have quite sensitive skin like my friend. Finding the right ingredients is like searching for a needle in a haystack... This product seems to have a clear identity. It's a soothing ampoule packed with a high concentration of centella. The ingredients are truly minimal, and I think the target audience is just as precise. If the centella ingredient suits you, this could be an excellent soothing ampoule that checks all the boxes.

However, I'm an exception... The centella ingredient makes up over 80% of the formula, so if it works for your skin, the effects could be amazing. But if it doesn't, it can cause a lot of trouble. In my case, it was the latter. As soon as I started using it, I felt an intense heat rising on my skin. I initially stopped using it, thinking it was due to my skin condition. After my skin condition improved a bit, I tried it again, but my cheeks, chin, and neck became bumpy, stinging, and itchy, just like mosquito bites. (I tested this product alone, not combined with any other products, just to be sure.) If you have an OSNT skin type! With oily skin and sensitivity! You might not suit it like me. Since it's a watery ampoule type, it seemed to irritate my skin that can't use skin types. After using the Realbarrier cream, my skin became much more comfortable, but when I added the ampoule and didn't wait long, I immediately had a burning sensation, irritation, and heat. I tried to endure it for 3 days, but on the second day, I could see my skin getting worse, so I gave up. ㅠㅠ I'm glad I bought it for 10,000 won during the first birthday event.

Even though nothing has changed in my skincare routine or lifestyle, I applied this only in the evening and woke up with a huge pimple on my cheek/cheekbone area. It's not a regular pimple, but more like a cystic acne - hard, red, and itchy. I usually don't have any issues using Madeca cream or Innisfree Cica cream, and I don't usually get breakouts from any other skincare products. But after just one use of this, I woke up with this problem. I bought it on sale, and now I'm not sure what to do with this product.

I didn't know that centella would have such a bad effect on me. I have sensitive and weak skin, and I was applying it morning and night, but it became incredibly irritating and red.
