The Clarins Double Serum Summer Edition has separate moisture and oil layers, so you just need to shake it before use. I bought it out of curiosity to match the price at the store, but I didn't know I would be this satisfied. This is the perfect basic skincare for spring and summer, with a well-balanced oil-water ratio. Before shaking, it's like a toner, but after mixing the oil and water layers, it becomes slightly thicker, with a texture between a toner and an essence. It absorbs quite well, and when you rub it between your palms and press it into your face, the lovely scent is so soothing... Using it alone can lower your stress levels. I think I'll repurchase it once I finish this bottle. It can be used regardless of skin type, and for combination to normal skin, this alone should be enough in the summer. But for very dry skin, it might not be sufficient.

On days when my skin feels particularly oily, I only used it on my neck.

This serum really moisturizes the skin and makes it bouncy and plump when used!! 💙💦 It resolves dryness and after using this product, the dryness was greatly improved!! It doesn't pill under makeup and helps makeup apply more smoothly and moisturized. The serum spreads gently on the skin and absorbs well. The skin texture becomes much softer and the skin condition greatly improves!! My skin is very sensitive and products often irritate or cause breakouts, but I didn't experience any issues like that after using this product!

I don't think there was anything particularly disappointing about using this serum!

This serum is great on its own, but when used together with the matching cream from the same line, it creates an even greater synergy and my skin condition improved even more!!
