I bought it out of curiosity while trying to hit a price point at the store, but I had no idea I'd be this satisfied. It's perfect for spring and summer, with an ideal oil and moisture balance for your skincare routine. Before shaking, it feels like a toner, but after mixing the oil layer, it becomes slightly thicker - somewhere between a toner and an essence. It absorbs well into the skin. I rub it between my palms and press it into my face. The scent is so lovely, it's truly healing... Just using it lowers my stress levels. I think I'll repurchase this after I finish the bottle. It's suitable for all skin types. For combination to normal skin, this alone might be enough in summer. However, it might not be quite sufficient for very dry skin. This serum really boosts skin hydration and makes it feel plump and full of moisture! It's great for solving deep dryness, and I noticed a significant improvement in my skin's dryness after using this product. I love that it doesn't cause pilling when applied before makeup, and it actually helps my makeup look more dewy and fresh. The serum absorbs well into the skin with a smooth application. It noticeably softens skin texture and improves overall skin condition. As someone with super sensitive skin that often reacts poorly to cosmetics, I'm thrilled that this product didn't cause any blemishes or skin irritation! I can't think of any downsides while using this serum! While using it, I wasn't sure how effective it was. But the moment I stopped, I realized this product was the reason my skin had been smooth, blemish-free, and well-hydrated. There's nothing particularly bad about it. If anything, having to shake it before use might be a bit of a hassle. Using this serum together with the Silky Cream leaves my skin incredibly hydrated the next day. It feels so moisturized when I wash my face, which is wonderful. I had no idea there were so many potentially problematic ingredients in this... It's disappointing. I think it works really well when used with the Silky Cream. This is currently my most beloved product. After cleansing, it feels like it's deeply penetrating my skin, which is incredibly satisfying. The finish is refreshing without any stickiness. The scent is also absolutely divine. I'll likely continue using this for quite some time. The price point is a bit disappointing... But aside from that, there's nothing else I find lacking.

The fragrance is lovely. On days I use it, my family comments on how nice I smell. It absorbs well too. When applied before bed, my skin feels hydrated until the next morning. I initially tried a sample, but now I'm considering purchasing the full size. The blue color gives a refreshing feel. As someone with oily skin, I usually avoid products with oils, but this felt light and pleasant to use in winter. The price is a bit steep, making it hard to justify a purchase. The pleasant scent... makes me wonder if it contains fragrances that might not be good for the skin. However, I didn't find any particular drawbacks. Keeps dry winter skin moisturized and hydrated. I've been using this product for 10 years. It's quite pricey. The bottle empties quickly, probably because I use about two pumps each time. Use after cleansing, followed by toner and then a hydrating serum. - ge*********Dry SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2020
I've probably gone through about five bottles of this. It's great that it's affordable for a Clarins essence! While it doesn't have any dramatic effects, it's a solid, reliable product that's easy to use.
