It creates a smooth, matte finish on the skin. Despite being a balm-type product, it works wonderfully with a sponge. Even when quickly touching up, you can pat it on without much clumping. Unfortunately, the puff gets dirty quite quickly. It's a shame that refills aren't sold domestically. - ro******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2020
A Japanese friend recommended this product, saying the brand was popular, so I decided to give it a try. When I apply it over my natural cushion foundation, it instantly brightens my complexion and looks great. I have dry skin, but since using this product, I've started hoarding mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and tints... I absolutely love it! As many others have mentioned, it's a bit inconvenient that it doesn't come with a strap. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2019
The coverage is definitely good! It's comparable to or even better than many foundations and BB creams. As someone with visible pores, I found it quite effective. The formula melts into the skin nicely! It blends well with body heat and applies smoothly with the built-in puff. In terms of value for money, it's decent. At 20,000 won, I was hesitant to buy it, but it's pretty good! Though not exceptional. The puff doesn't have a string, which is inconvenient. You need to swipe rather than pat it on. The shade is a bit light... My teacher at school is lenient about it, but it literally 'remakes' your skin color. They urgently need to add more shades. The mirror inside is small, making it difficult to see your whole face. Fellow clumsy folks, carry an extra mirror with you. If you have severely dehydrated skin, the forehead area might look patchy. Make sure to layer your skincare products thoroughly before applying. Use the puff sparingly as it picks up a lot of product - you might end up with too thick a layer if you're not careful. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2019
This is truly a hidden gem! I stumbled upon it during an Olive Young sale. While it doesn't have any standout features, it's become a favorite of mine. In a market flooded with cushion compacts, this rare solid foundation applies as thinly as a cushion. It feels cool and fluid when applied, but finishes with a soft, matte texture. The coverage is medium - small blemishes and marks are slightly visible. In the photo I attached, you can see my wrist veins peeking through slightly. However, it excels at evening out skin tone, creating a bright and uniform complexion. It's particularly effective at covering dark circles when applied with fingers. While I'd opt for a traditional foundation for a full-coverage look, this product is perfect for quick, everyday makeup. It's incredibly versatile for daily use. While the included puff works well with the product, it lacks a handle, which can be a bit inconvenient. Also, it only comes in one shade - Light Beige. This works well for me, but those with darker skin tones won't have options. It's best suited for those who typically use shade 21. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2019
1. It seems to cover pores fairly well... Not bad... 2. Applying it with a damp beauty sponge seems to be the best combination... Honestly, without Real Techniques, I wouldn't be able to do my makeup... 1. What's up with that included puff? It's really terrible... Don't use it. Throw it away... It's completely awful. Everything looks patchy with it. 2. You have to warm it up with your hands for it to apply. If you just try to use the dry puff, hardly any product picks up... ??? Only when you swipe with your finger does it finally melt... The struggle of solid foundation... Make sure to warm it up.. Otherwise, it won't apply... But then it also runs out really quickly... 3. The price... I bought it for 21,000 won, but the small size of Espoir Be Glow is 15,000 won, you know? Just buy that instead... It's better.. It doesn't run out as fast and it's more usable... 4. It pills like crazy. I've never seen anything pill this badly before. Other products don't pill at all! But this one does. So I tried it once the night it was delivered, and after that I only use it when practicing makeup... Throw away that puff. It's for your own good. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2019
Skin condition: My skin is extremely sensitive and dry, so even with a daily mask routine, foundation tends to look patchy. That's why I've always stuck to Giorgio Armani. Usage: Even without a primer, there's hardly any patchiness. If you have noticeable skin texture, this might be worth trying. Precautions: Since it's mainly for a matte skin finish, I recommend moisturizing well to prevent deep dryness. The puff doesn't have a string :( As someone who usually uses Giorgio Armani, I had no issues, but it's good to know that the coverage is quite sheer. For those who typically use products like Clio, expect the coverage to be about 1/3 of that. I recommend using a separate concealer for dark circles. I usually use a Moonshot puff, but other than that, I recommend using a water drop puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 3, 2019
Compared to other moisturizing balm-type foundations, this one feels a bit more tacky. As a result, it covers pores well and makes the skin look firm. For combination dehydrated skin like mine, the moment a product becomes even slightly matte, oil tends to surge. However, this foundation, despite being matte, produces less oil, which greatly improves the longevity of my makeup. The coverage is too light, unfortunately. I tried to layer it over a high-coverage foundation, but it doesn't adhere well. It seems to work best when applied directly after skincare routine. When it starts to break down, it doesn't clump but can look a bit patchy. However, if you gently pat it with a hydrating cushion at that point, the patchiness quickly disappears! - he*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 16, 2018
I tried Majorica for the first time, and I think I'll be reaching for it often from now on. It covers pores well and brightens the complexion, even when used instead of BB cream. It's lightweight, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I don't touch up my makeup at all, so by evening it fades a bit and blemishes show through, but it doesn't cake or leave patches. It has sun protection, though I wish the SPF was a bit higher. It contains some ingredients to be cautious of, so those with sensitive skin should check carefully. I couldn't find any setting powders without these ingredients. So far, I haven't experienced any side effects. However, on days when I only wear BB cream, I can sleep without washing my face and not get pimples... but with this, if I don't cleanse before bed, something pops up. Also, its staying power is weak, so without touch-ups, blemishes show through by lunchtime. I tried applying it over BB cream, but it doesn't adhere well and just sits on top. For best adherence, apply it directly on skin prepped with skincare, with just concealer underneath. There's a slight white cast at first, but it disappears quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 6, 2018
I have combination skin with a few blemishes, and while the coverage isn't the absolute best, it truly covers 'naturally'. Right after application, it might look a bit pale, but after just a few minutes, it blends beautifully to look like my own skin, only better! The coverage isn't perfect, but honestly, I actually prefer it this way. - am****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 1, 2018
I snagged this during an Olive Young sale - what a find! It's moisturizing with decent coverage, yet feels lightweight on the skin. I love that it doesn't make my complexion look cakey. When I'm in a rush, I just quickly apply this for a bit of coverage before heading out. I didn't experience any darkening, and while there's some breakdown by the end of the day, it fades beautifully. The puff... If only they'd sell the puff separately! Cleaning it is such a hassle. After applying this, I touch up with Majorica's Pressed Pore Cover during lunch to control oil. The staying power becomes absolutely amazing!
