As someone with super sensitive skin, I've never experienced any blemishes with this product. Its cleansing effectiveness is excellent, making it absolutely top-notch! It's hard to find fault when asked... Perhaps the only minor issue is that it's a bit tricky to squeeze out the last bit of product at the end of the tube? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2020
This cleansing oil is powerful enough to remove all my makeup without needing a separate lip and eye remover. I love that it's gentle and non-irritating, even when I massage it in for a long time. I can't really think of any downsides. The only thing that makes me anxious is when I'm running low and there's no group buy available! If you emulsify it thoroughly and rinse well, it doesn't leave your skin feeling tight at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2020
It's a gentle oil cleanser with good cleansing effectiveness. Since it's an oil formula, I follow up with a mild foaming cleanser for my second cleanse. I haven't found any drawbacks yet. I'm quite satisfied with it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2020
I bought this believing the base oil was sweet almond oil. The rosehip scent is really lovely, giving a healing feeling. When emulsified with lukewarm water, it removes makeup even better. The cleansing effectiveness is decent too. It doesn't dry out the skin. Although it's mentioned that there are potential allergens, despite having quite sensitive skin, I didn't experience any special blemishes. The 115ml size is a bit small for daily use - a larger volume would be better. It's a rich oil formula, and when rinsed with lukewarm water, it leaves a slippery feeling. If you want a clean rinse and feel, I wouldn't really recommend this. As for the price, it's ₩39,000 for domestic sales. I'm not sure of the exact local price, but I bought two 115ml bottles directly from New Zealand for just over 50,000 won including shipping. So the domestic price is quite expensive. If you buy two bottles domestically, it's ₩78,000 + ₩3,000 shipping = ₩81,000, which is almost a 30,000 won difference. There's a characteristic slippery feeling from the oil. If you don't like that sensation, try following up with a cleansing foam. It will significantly reduce the slipperiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 3, 2019
This is an excellent daily cleansing oil. It leaves my skin feeling clean without any tightness, which is perfect for the current dry weather. I've been a fan of Trilogy's moisturizer before, and their cleansing oil doesn't disappoint either. It has a subtle, pleasant scent. The pump dispenser is a must for cleansing oils to make application easier, and Trilogy's design is spot-on. One pump is usually enough, which is convenient. It cleanses thoroughly and effectively. The only downside is the size - it's a bit small for daily use. I wish they offered a larger volume option. Apply to dry hands and skin. This is a transforming formula that changes texture when it comes into contact with water. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2018
I've been using Trilogy products from Australia for a long time, but this cleansing oil is my first try. I used to use the more affordable Farmer's Cocoa Butter cleansing oil, but this Trilogy cleansing oil is a real game-changer. Since I always apply sunscreen and cushion foundation meticulously before work, I pay a lot of attention to cleansing. This oil is gentle and when I rinse it off with water, there's absolutely no stickiness - it just removes all the makeup residue perfectly. The scent is pleasant, it removes makeup effectively with just a small amount, and it rinses off without leaving any residue. I highly recommend it! Unlike other oil cleansers I've used before, which either didn't rinse off well or didn't remove makeup properly, this product has none of those issues. I usually double cleanse in the evening, first with an oil cleanser and then with my holy grail Trilogy Balancing Gel Cleanser, so I'm not sure how it would work using this product alone. Also, since the bottle is glass, I'm a bit concerned about it breaking or damaging the tiles or sink when I'm vigorously cleansing in the shower. Whether it's because I have a large face or wear heavy makeup, one pump isn't quite enough to cleanse my entire face, but 2-3 pumps are sufficient. I don't recommend using cotton pads to remove makeup with this - the cotton absorbs all the oil, which just irritates your skin without removing any makeup. The most effective method I found was to gently massage it onto the skin with your hands.
