It seems to keep the eye area moisturized and helps prevent wrinkles from forming easily. Applying it consistently has been great for hydration, and I love that I can massage those hard-to-manage eye and smile lines. It's been wonderful for maintaining areas that are typically difficult to care for. While it's meant for use around the eyes, it can sting a bit if it gets into them... That's a bit of a downside. Morning and night! Even after applying makeup, if the eye area feels dry, I gently pat a little on and let it absorb well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 5, 2019
Absorbs well and is almost identical to the popular Japanese product, even copying the case design with three rollers. The quick absorption is definitely its strongest point. Despite all its advantages, this eye area product stings if it gets into your eyes. After using it, the next steps are tears and eye drops. I tried the sample first, and even before opening the full-size product, I knew I wouldn't repurchase. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2019
- Cooling effect from the moment it touches your eyes. The three balls on the applicator feel incredibly refreshing. - The roll-on style application means no product gets on your hands or goes to waste. - Great ingredients and almost no fragrance, which is a plus. - After applying, skin feels firm and supple. - Bought it for dark circles, and while I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, they seem a bit brighter. - Once, I enjoyed the cooling sensation so much that I overused it, which led to a slight burning and tingling sensation around my eyes. - At first, I didn't realize you had to twist to start the product flow. I kept pressing, thinking it was defective. Remember to twist it to start! It seems using the right amount is crucial. Avoid applying too much! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 12, 2019
I loved how the raised part of the product seemed to reduce eye puffiness as I rolled it around. It felt refreshingly cool and was so easy to apply. It stung quite a bit if the cream got into my eyes. Even the next morning after sleeping, I could still feel a slight irritation in my eyes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2019
I bought this hoping it would help with my dry eyes. First off, it's easy to apply. You don't even need to get it on your hands - just gently squeeze the tube and glide it above and below your eyes. When you apply it, there's a refreshing sensation. It stings a bit if it gets into your eyes while applying. I'm not sure yet if it's helping with my dry eye syndrome. The effects don't seem to be immediate. I've been using it for a week, but I think I'll need to use it for about a month to really tell. The color is slightly yellowish, so I'm a bit hesitant to apply it during the day. I usually put it on in the evening while watching TV. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2019
I'm not showing signs of eye wrinkles yet, but as I'm now firmly in my mid-20s, I've become concerned about them. So I bought this as a preventative measure. I decided to trust this product after seeing a famous YouTuber use it, and hearing it even has blue light protection. I love that it comes with a massage ball and the tube packaging is hygienic! While I can't really tell if it's working yet, I'm sure it's doing its job in prevention. There's nothing I dislike about it, so I plan to keep using it consistently. Like with most eye products, it stings if it gets in your eyes! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinDec 30, 2018
I really love the three small massage balls attached, making it so convenient to apply. I use it in the morning to massage my eye area, temples, and smile lines. It seems to help reduce puffiness! While it's not the most hydrating, I'd consider repurchasing just for those massage balls once I finish it. The serum is quite thin, so if you're not careful with the amount, it can get into your eyes and cause a tingling sensation. Also, it feels too light for winter use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2018
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I usually only use eye cream when I remember to. The reason is not because of the difference in formulation, but because I think there's no need to use multiple products. I believe emulsions, creams, or oils can provide sufficient nourishment. However, when I see the increasing wrinkles, I feel like I need an eye cream... Being in my thirties, it's unavoidable. I tried this product with a mix of expectation and curiosity, wondering how different an eye serum with an applicator would be from a regular eye cream. It's an eye serum with a thinner consistency rather than a thick feel. The applicator helps with puffiness. The applicator is very useful - I roll it not just around my eyes but here and there! The hydration is very satisfying. It's convenient and hygienic as you don't have to dip your fingers into it. The amount is excellent for the price. The long tube shape makes it easy to store. I'd recommend it for those who dislike sticky textures. The ingredients are good too! It seems to help repair skin damaged by blue light, but it's a shame I can't feel the effects directly. It stings if it gets into your eyes when applying. Because of its thin consistency, it takes a bit more time to absorb. The applicator is both an advantage and a disadvantage - it can be quite stimulating. If you use it as is, the three protrusions can be painful. You might need to use it gently, even if you're not an expert. Don't try to absorb the product completely with the applicator. After absorbing about 70-80%, use the remaining product to massage it in. Otherwise, it might take half a day to absorb! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2018
I discovered this product through Hwahae, and I'm really impressed with how it applies, adheres to the skin, and provides hydration. When you gently press it into your skin while applying, it gives a nice massage effect and makes your face look noticeably brighter. The rolling sensation was quite pleasant! I think there must be an ingredient that doesn't agree with me. My face completely broke out, with blemishes erupting everywhere! Usually, most cosmetics work well for me, so I don't worry too much about what I put on my face, but something in this really upset my skin. I wanted to keep using it because it's meant for the eye area and has good ingredients, but that distinct burning sensation feels too irritating for the delicate eye area. Strangely, when I yawned after applying it around my eyes, they would sting, hurt, and tear up even more. I felt like I was dying! This product was just too harsh for my super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 23, 2018
I was lucky enough to try this product through Hwahae's giveaway program. *Combination skin with oily T-zone / Infrequent makeup wearer / High eye strain from computer work / Frequent all-nighters* As someone who's always understood the importance of eye cream, I've been using it for a while. I'd heard somewhere that thicker formulas were better, so this serum-type cream was a new experience for me. - Using the metal ball applicator feels like it spreads the product more evenly and thinly compared to using fingers. - There's a nice cooling effect. - I had some dead skin cells around my left eye that wouldn't go away, but after using this, they've disappeared. Thank you, serum! It definitely makes the skin around my eyes feel firmer. - It absorbs well. Usually when I use a sheet mask, I gently massage the eye area, and when I remove the mask later (typically after 3-7 minutes), there's no residue left. - The cooling effect is... peculiar. It's not so much a cooling sensation as it is just the feeling of the metal ball itself. It falls short of what I'd call a true cooling effect. - It stings if it gets in your eyes. - For some reason, after applying it, the eye area feels warm and tingly. It's odd - there's this hot sensation right after the cooling effect. I wonder if it's because my eye area is sensitive. Maybe that's why I can't fully appreciate the cooling effect. - I'm a bit concerned about hygiene where the product is applied, so I wipe the applicator with a tissue or wet wipe after each use. Rather than using it with a hydrating toner, I feel like using it with an exfoliating toner might maximize its effects...? Just a gut feeling, though.
