This is truly my favorite eye cream. The texture is like a slightly bouncy serum... it's too thin to call it a cream. It has three roller-like applicators, which, thanks to them, I could apply it without missing spots on my eyes, forehead, smile lines, and neck. When I have to apply with my fingers, it's a bit of a hassle, so one tube lasts a really long time. It's not too thick, so it absorbs really well. It seems excellent for wrinkle management. It seems there isn't much product in the tube. That's the most disappointing part. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 23, 2019
It seems to keep the eye area moisturized and helps prevent wrinkles from forming easily. Applying it consistently has been great for hydration, and I love that I can massage those hard-to-manage eye and smile lines. It's been wonderful for maintaining areas that are typically difficult to care for. While it's meant for use around the eyes, it can sting a bit if it gets into them... That's a bit of a downside. Morning and night! Even after applying makeup, if the eye area feels dry, I gently pat a little on and let it absorb well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2019
I always got blemishes when using eye creams, probably due to the concentrated nutrients. While the eye area without sebaceous glands was fine, as I aged, wrinkles appeared on my forehead and neck too. Applying the cream to these areas always caused breakouts, which was stressful. However, this one is a serum with a thinner consistency, and it has a massage ball that allows for easy application. I can even feel a slight improvement in my forehead wrinkles! It contains lutein, which is good for eye health, giving it a slightly yellow tint. I think liquid formulations like ampoules and serums work better for me than creams, so I'm considering repurchasing. - Although it's a functional product for brightening and wrinkle improvement, I honestly can't tell much difference in terms of brightening. - Compared to typical eye creams that come in 30ml or 30g, this feels a bit small in quantity. - When you squeeze the tube, the serum comes out through the massage ball. Having to roll the ball with the serum on it for massage feels a bit unsanitary, so I always wipe it clean after use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2019
The tube design is super convenient - you can just squeeze out the serum and roll it on with the silver ball. It feels refreshingly cool as you apply a thin layer. I snagged two during a Hwahae sale, which was a great deal. I'd been worried about makeup settling into fine lines around my eyes, early signs of wrinkles, and dryness. This product has definitely helped alleviate those concerns. It's amazing for touch-ups during the day too - just dab a bit on and it absorbs perfectly without any pilling. The lutein ingredient is supposed to be good for eye health, so that's a bonus. Love that it's portable and travel-friendly. No blemishes after use, and the texture is lightweight yet moisturizing - not thick like a cream. It absorbs well without any stickiness or oily residue. Overall, it's a winner for hydration and convenience. I can't really think of any downsides. The full price is a bit steep, so I'd recommend stocking up during sales. It's perfect for frequent use when you can get it at a discount. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 8, 2019
I've been using eye creams since my late teens when I first became interested in cosmetics. At some point, I started getting milia around my eyes, and in severe cases, even acne, which was so frustrating that I stopped using eye creams. But this year, I noticed faint wrinkles around my eyes...!!! Oh no! So I looked for an eye cream with good ingredients on Hwahae, and the Isoi Bulgarian Youth Lutein Intense Eye Serum seemed great in terms of functionality. I was planning to buy it later, but then Hwahae had a sale! I scored two products for the price of one! The absorption, hydration, and overall application are all fantastic. Once, a bit got into my eye, but there was no stinging sensation... I was so impressed! While it doesn't completely eliminate wrinkles, they do seem to be fading. I plan to use it consistently for the best results. The brightening effect doesn't seem that noticeable... And there was a bit of disappointment with the delivery, not the product itself. What I mean is... getting a sample was nice, but why give me a sample of the same product? It would have been better to include a sample of their other eye serum, the Rucaein one or something... Other than that, I'm not sure about much else yet. I like to keep it in the refrigerator before use and then massage it on while it's cool. It's great because it maximizes both the cooling effect and the massage benefits. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2019
It's wonderfully hydrating, brightens the under-eye area, and seems to smooth out fine lines a bit. The 15ml size is quite small, I'll probably use it up quickly. I didn't expect it to be this little. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 1, 2019
The Hwahae Testers review First off, the roller is absolutely fantastic... Not only for use around the eyes, but... I have deep frown lines, so I massage them with the roller and can really feel them fading. The roller seems to be made of stainless steel, so it's cool even without refrigeration. It's great for pressing acupressure points and reducing morning puffiness. Also, the formula isn't rich but more of a light gel texture, so it absorbs quickly and doesn't cause milia. As someone prone to milia, I can say this with certainty. Inside The tube is the biggest drawback... I really hope the product manager sees this and fixes it... If it were a tube that didn't let air back in, you could just roll the product out with the roller. But as it is, you have to keep squeezing, and the amount that comes out varies each time. For wrinkles other than around the eyes, use the roller in the opposite direction. The skin around frown lines and nasolabial folds is thicker than around the eyes, so it's not as sensitive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 27, 2019
I tried this product after winning a Hwahae survey towards the end of last year. I would definitely repurchase it. * Hydration: On days when my face looks particularly dry, if I use this for rolling before makeup, it makes my skin look more moisturized. They say that lack of hydration can make wrinkles more prominent, right? So this moisturizing effect also seems to make wrinkles appear a bit less noticeable (maybe it's a trick, haha). * Texture: Cream formulas can be thick and prone to pilling, but this product is a serum that absorbs smoothly, which is great. You can apply it without worry before makeup (can you see the yellow serum liquid in the second picture?). * Contains Lutein: These days, we're exposed to blue light for long periods due to frequent use of phones, computers, and laptops. Apparently, lutein is an ingredient that effectively counteracts the harmful effects of blue light. I think my usage period was a bit short to personally experience the effects. Plus, some say lutein is only effective when ingested, so I'll need to use it more. Still, I felt reassured by their effort to block blue light. * Massage Ball: I've used He*'s eye serum with a massage ball before, but I found this product's three small balls more effective for massaging than one large ball. Right after massaging, I really wonder if my wrinkles have decreased. Of course, that effect doesn't last dramatically long, unfortunately. But I think continued massage could have a significant effect on reducing wrinkles. * No Eye Irritation: Sometimes when rolling around the eyes, the product can get in a bit, but I liked that there was no stinging sensation. * Price to Quantity Ratio: Maybe I pressed too hard when using this roll-on type instead of patting it in with my hands? It was a two-week trial for the Hwahae survey, but by the time I was responding to the survey, it had shrunk to almost empty as you can see in the photo. So while I want to repurchase, I keep putting it off. * If you're too eager to smooth out wrinkles, the areas you rolled the day before might be quite sore during the next day's massage, haha. * Look up the correct direction for smoothing wrinkles online and try rolling in that direction. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinDec 30, 2018
I really love the three small massage balls attached, making it so convenient to apply. I use it in the morning to massage my eye area, temples, and smile lines. It seems to help reduce puffiness! While it's not the most hydrating, I'd consider repurchasing just for those massage balls once I finish it. The serum is quite thin, so if you're not careful with the amount, it can get into your eyes and cause a tingling sensation. Also, it feels too light for winter use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 29, 2018
It seems to have a dual effect of caring for eye wrinkles while also providing a pleasant stimulation from the rolling applicator, which helps soothe puffy eyes in the morning. I might need to use it longer to be sure, but so far I haven't noticed any drawbacks. I used to apply eye cream as the last step in my skincare routine, but since this product is quite fluid, I've been applying it after the toner or serum step. Personally, I find it works better when applied earlier in the routine rather than at the end.
