It's as if it locks in your toner or serum! I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something to deeply hydrate your skin. The texture is heavier than expected, so it tends to pill if applied before makeup. It might be better suited for nighttime use. Here's my routine for banishing those pesky blemishes: 1. I've been using the Dokdo line because I heard it was good. I apply it before putting on makeup. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it. Just filling up the character count here.
