  Pros

  1. After application, the skin looks soft and velvety. It effectively conceals pores. 2. For touch-ups, you only need to gently blot excess oil with blotting paper or no-sebum powder. 3. It's oil-free, which can make it slightly drying in winter. I have oily, super sensitive skin that can't even handle emulsions for acne-prone skin! For reference, I use sunscreens and moisturizers specifically for oily skin, and I don't use emulsions at all.

  Cons

  1. It can accentuate dead skin cells, especially around the nose area. 2. The coverage is light, so a concealer is necessary. It doesn't properly cover the vitiligo on my cheeks and around my mouth. I had to apply some BB cream on those areas. 3. Thickness: Even when applied thinly, you can feel the product on your skin. It's like applying sunscreen twice.

  Pros

  It provides a powdery and soft finish even without using powder. A small amount spreads and blends well. The oil content does not rise up too much, which is good.

  Cons

  In winter and transitional seasons, it can cause dryness. Especially for those with dry skin, it may be more problematic. If you have flaky skin, it can accentuate it. Even for those with combination skin, it can feel quite drying. After using it for about half the bottle, I found that even for those with combination skin, you need to have a solid skincare routine and apply it properly. It was too drying to use on its own, so I ended up mixing it with another foundation.

  Tip

  For oily skin, mixing it with a cream would likely work well, except in the winter.

  Pros

  It has no oiliness and a very light application texture.

  Cons

  It seemed to have a sensitive reaction as it turned reddish. I used it for the second time, and the dry parts were very flaky and cracked.

  Tip

  When applied with a brush, it leaves visible marks, so I have to pat it with a sponge.
