With just a small amount, you can achieve a radiant complexion. I loved that the lightest shade wasn't too yellow. It's so wonderfully matte! This is truly my favorite product because of how velvety it feels. The cool-toned shade is particularly great for those with cool undertones. Once applied, it lasts for a long time and doesn't break down quickly. If you set it with powder after application, you've got a solid base. No need for expensive foundations! This is the drugstore foundation I've settled on and adore the most. For those who find it drying, you can mix it with a moisturizer. As someone with oily skin, I applied it straight most of the time, except when my skin was acting up. The small quantity is a bit disappointing. It's about the same amount as a concealer. I'd like it to last longer, but it's priced similarly to regular foundations with more product. It feels a bit burdensome to keep repurchasing. The glass packaging has its pros and cons. Glass is great for preservation, but it's heavy. If you drop it while carrying it around, yikes! Also, it doesn't cover pores at all. It's like... instead of smoothly adhering to pores, it sits on top like water in a puddle. It looks particularly unflattering if you have large pores. Be careful if you don't use powder. Touch-ups can be tricky because of this. For me, it wasn't a huge issue since I use powder, which helps with coverage. - bb********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityFeb 10, 2017
The application is nice. The sleek packaging is appealing. I've only used BB creams before, but this foundation works well too. It has a matte finish. Despite being a foundation, it has less coverage than BB creams or cushions. It transfers easily with the slightest touch, which is inconvenient... It feels like it sits on top of the skin. Considering the price, it's disappointing. Shade 21 is way too light. It separates, so you need to mix it with oil before use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 11, 2017
As someone with oily skin, I appreciated the slightly matte finish and how it gave my complexion a natural look. Compared to matte foundations, the coverage was a bit lacking, and when my skin got oily, it tended to crack a little. I found that mixing it with a moisturizer or hydrating cream made it perfect for a natural look at school! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2017
The absorption is decent, and the texture is like ice cream, making it pleasant to apply. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I've been using a grape-scented foundation with supposedly harmful ingredients for nearly six months without any issues, but I got blemishes the very next day after applying this. I have dry, resilient skin that rarely reacts to products, but this was different. After comparing ingredients, I think I might be having an allergic reaction to Cetyl PEG. I've only used it twice, and I'm already worried about what to do with the rest of the product. If you're sensitive to Cetyl PEG, please avoid using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 23, 2016
The powdery finish is real... I took this on a midsummer trip to Hong Kong. As those who've been there know, Hong Kong's humidity is truly brutal and it's so hot. My friend and I managed the whole trip with just this. When you apply it, your hair doesn't stick to your face, and your skin feels fresh and nice. Well... isn't it a bit pricey? At 40,000 won, I'm not sure I'd buy it again. I usually use shade 21, but this one was too light, so I went with 23. It would be nice if there was a shade between the two. It's really great for summer use. You get that fresh, powdery finish even without using additional powder! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 10, 2016
1. After application, the skin looks soft and velvety. It effectively conceals pores. 2. For touch-ups, you only need to gently blot excess oil with blotting paper or no-sebum powder. 3. It's oil-free, which can make it slightly drying in winter. I have oily, super sensitive skin that can't even handle emulsions for acne-prone skin! For reference, I use sunscreens and moisturizers specifically for oily skin, and I don't use emulsions at all. 1. It can accentuate dead skin cells, especially around the nose area. 2. The coverage is light, so a concealer is necessary. It doesn't properly cover the vitiligo on my cheeks and around my mouth. I had to apply some BB cream on those areas. 3. Thickness: Even when applied thinly, you can feel the product on your skin. It's like applying sunscreen twice. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDec 27, 2015
It was really moisturizing and covered the blackheads on my nose so they were not visible, and the surface felt soft and nice. The volume is a bit small considering the price.. Other than that, I can't think of anything else. It's best to use only a small amount of the spatula to apply it evenly across the face. - go*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinJul 28, 2015
It has a matte texture that even the most discerning skin can feel! I think you'll really enjoy using it in the summer~ The application is also quite smooth! My skin is not particularly bright, but even with the 21 shade, it doesn't look too bright. The coverage of the foundation is a bit lacking, unfortunately. I have some freckles on my face, and they don't get covered up very well... But it does a great job of hiding my pores! I guess oily skin is just something I have to deal with. After about 3 hours of wearing it, the oil starts to come through. And when it breaks down, it doesn't do so in a very flattering way... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 17, 2015
The coverage is average, but the positive aspect is that it has a matte finish which I liked. However, the adhesion is lacking and it accentuates the appearance of dry skin patches. Additionally, it doesn't apply smoothly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 3, 2015
The good thing about it is the ingredients...It seems like it doesn't really cause any trouble either. I bought both 21 and 23 to mix them together to create a middle shade, but the 23 shade is just too dark brown ㅜㅜㅜ It's hard to create a middle color. It really cakes up ㅋㅋ It seeps into the pores and you really need to do a good base before applying it...ㅜ It's not terrible but I don't think I'll repurchase it? I bought it on Coupang so it was half the price. Try the sample first and then purchase it on Coupang.
